Basically these are doggy panties

Thin and no liner, these are basically doggie panties. Must use thick liners for absorption or these WILL seep through. They run small and don't have a lot of "stretch" but if u get a size tht fits and your female and her flow is "light" or u have thick liners, these are good and don't look like diapers. Def more "stylish" though.

Great Panties, You need a Pad in them, Small dogs may need a medium

We have used these pants for quite a while on girls that cannot seem to all get on the same schedule. They give our girls the best fit , I do have to adjust the length a bit. Make sure you measure though. I have girls that are 10-16 pounds wearing the medium ones as the small ones for them are to small lengthwise. Do not get me wrong the small girls can wear the small pants but they are more comfortable in the mediums. I am editing my review, I have as I said 10 pound to 16 pound girls wearing them. I shorten the length a little for them if they slide down too much and if that puts you off right there by you saying you do not sew there are some great fabric glues out there that dry clear and are washable you can use. I am reordering some more now because eventually they do wear out. I am now having a great recommendation for those of you that have dogs with light or infrequent bladder issues or you just need them for when they are in heat the new Poise pads that are in a turquoise type bag are great, they are smaller but are almost the same absorbancy as the bigger ones, I cut them in half (all of them are cut in half) for one of my 10 pounders who is an infrequent wetter. Another reason for wearing a size medium is the leg length is to short on the small and my littler on was getting bow legged in the smalls.

Too Small

These diapers definitely run small! I have a 7lb Yorkie and bought these in the size based on the size chart and they were too small. I would definitely go up a size if you are ordering. Also be aware that they have no absorbency. They have a mesh interior. So you'll need to put something inside like a pad/pantyliner if you want them to be absorbent.

since petsmarts's supplier quit making the denim cover-ups with a small hole for tail, they're all like this. hole for tail way too big, very thin cloth, not much protection.

Good quality

I use the human incontinence pads with these. I have been very pleased. Bought the large for my 40 lb lab mix. They wash up nicely. There were two diapers in the box. One pink stripe and one black with white polka dots.
