Not engraved

from the pictures I thought this was a stone coaster that actually had an engraved background design and letter. It is completely flat and just a painted picture. Very disappointed. The quality is nice but not the designer sort of coster I was looking for. It is a gift and it is too close to Christmas to return it and get something else. Way too pricey for just a painted on picture.

Nice overall, but aren't good for long-term use

I bought these to replace coasters I have had for 30 years that were almost corkless. I also live in the deep South, so when it's muggy and my cup sweats too much, these coasters are coming with the cup (and usually falling off mid travel). I find that SOOO annoying! The monogram section is also some sort of paper stick-on, but it's never been affected by anything but tea-stains all this time, so I'm not going to complain. But for once, I would like a coaster I don't have to keep a paper towel on top of to keep the cup from sticking to! But hey, they are nice to look at from afar, and I guess if you don't live in a humid area, you should be fine.

Upscale coasters at an affordable price.

Excellent quality, and the color goes with almost every room. I purchased these for a client to have in his spare room, and I would not hesitate to buy them for another client or give them as a gift.

Amazing quality!

Loved my coasters… At first, I was a bit hesitant but when I opened the package and felt the quality, I was impressed. The stone is also porous so it does wonders absorbing liquids.
