The best part about this tool is the name!

I had an old paper piercer (like 20 years old) that finally gave up the ghost. When I started looking for a new one, I was so entertained by the descriptive name of this product that I had to buy it. Hot tip: Take off the eraser from a wood pencil, use it to cover the pokey part, and save yourself from unintentional injury.

Very Handy Tool

This is a must have tool for anyone who crafts with paper, vinyl, or iron on material and anyone who uses metal cutting dies. Sometimes the smallest, least expensive items have incredible value. This item is one of those items.

Caution on cap

Be cautious...pic is so sharp that when I put the cap on....it went straight thru it. Point is really sharp but should have a better cap. I'll try to find a wine cork to use I stead.

One tool had a 'burr' on the end and would not go through die holes

With the very good overall ratings on these tools, I must have just gotten one that slipped through quality control, as it had a burr on the end and would not fit in a die hole. The second issue I had with this product is that the cover for the point is made of thin plastic or rubber and the tip easily pierces the cover, and presenting a degree of danger if you don't see well. Returning these.

Does what it says

Used for poking paper and card from metal cutting dies. It does what it is supposed to sell and the safety lid is handy. Good also that they came in a pair for when I mislay one.
