Works with cheese and chocolate
We used this once for cheese and once for chocolate fondue. I worried about how well it would work since i never made fondues before—and it was great. The cheese fondue was as good as what I ate when I lived in Switzerland, and cleanup was super easy. The fondue set also includes recipes. This was a great purchase and will be getting much use.

Worked Great!
Worked great! Big opening so multiple people can dip at the same time and kept the cheese mixture at a great temperature. Glad this is the one I chose.

We need too for a party ,I bought thus one and my daughter bought another brand.mine worked great, didn't burn at all.My daughter burnt so bad we couldn't use it.so I was happy we at least had this one!

Such a fun way to have dinner!
My family loves this fondue pot! The temperature stays consistent. I love the color coding on the ends of the skewers so that we can tell them apart easily. It is just a unique way to share a meal as a family.

Good fondue maker, cord is too short
The fondue maker works well, but you have to use an extension cord to put in on the table, unless your table is pushed against an outlet.

Temp cycles between scalding hot or off
Would not recommend purchasing, since the heating element is not reliable. Pros: Nice aesthetic compared to other fondue sets The brushed stainless steel stays relatively clean looking Easy to clean - the entire pot can go into the dishwasher too Nice and wide mouth of pot Non-slip feet Tear away magnetic cord - if someone accidentally tripped on the cord the pot will not go flying Cons: No matter what setting you set it at, the way the heating element works is that it’s super extra burn-your-cheese hot or off. Depending on which setting you pick increases or reduces the time in between that it is off. We set it to a 4 as the ‘optimal’ setting. The cheese fondue would be cold for about 30 seconds , then burning for 30 seconds, and do that over and over again. You’ll have to be there stirring it the entire time when it switches the heat back on, or your cheese will burn. When the cheese is not burning, it gets cold and starts to firm up. Given the above issue, having a double boiler option may solve the problem, but an additional bowl is not included. The set comes with metal fondue forks, but it says you can’t let them touch the inside of the pot or it will scratch the coating. The cord is very short (for safety)

Doesn’t work in the UK
I bought this for Christmas Day and was gutted when I unboxed it and it only had n American plug. Shouldn’t be sold in the U.K.

USELESS IN INDIA / NO REFUND MADE
The product is useless is India as the voltage is 120v... they don't provide a converter and the converter is same price as the fondue so no worth it. We proceed with the return of the product, amazon pick it up and until know (6 months) they didn't give refund!
