Broke after a day.
The screw that holds the batteries in didn't screw back in so I taped it closed. Then the next day the blade stopped moving.

Nice little chainsaw for kids to learn safety with
Right out of the box it worked. 3 AA batteries is all you need. The pull cord makes it sound like it’s cranking, rubber chain DOES spin but has a safety that will stop it if grabbed, and the chain break works. The only thing that sucks is the screw that holds the battery door on. If the kid drops it the screw will not hold and the batteries will fly out. I put a different screw in and it works great.

Seems cheaply made
I bought one of these and it seems like it’s really cheaply made. The battery cover was broken, it wouldn’t shut and Amazon replaced it with a brand new one. I bought it as a Christmas gift (it was bought in the summer and it’s October 1 today so it hasn’t been played with yet so I can’t say if the child likes it or not yet-I’m sure he will he really loves power tools) I did put batteries in to make sure it works and it just seems cheap

Cheaply made
It is a cute toy and my son loved it but the chain part stopped rotating about an hour after we started using it. The buttons are also cheaply made and they stick.. all in all the looks of it are cool but the functions of it do not work as well described.

Smaller than expected but my son loves it
I did not realize how small this would be - to give you an idea, the whole box was delivered and fit in our mailbox. I expected it to be too big to do that BUT my son still loves it!!
