Great Rain Shower Style with Decent Pressure
We have a more expensive rain shower in our master bath and this shower in our guest bath. I am very happy with this purchase. Obviously you have to make sure that you have the clearance necessary for a rain shower head to be installed in your bathroom. You can buy other shower rods (they are standard size so they don't have to be a Delta one) if necessary to raise it higher. Amazon sells a few options. For those that comment on the use of plastic, go to any high end showroom (we went to a Fergusen as well as a Kohler showroom) and you will see that even some of the most expensive sets now incorporate plastic type materials. I was a little bothered at first, but frankly if it is above my head and I am never touching it, I don't care that it is a plastic material. It looks terrific and I love the way the shower handle controls the hot/warm and on/off. I wish all of our shower handles operated like this one. The rain shower itself is really nice. It provides more pressure as compared to the Hansgrohe rain shower in our master bath. I can definitely see some pressure loving folks (or those with really long hair) preferring this one just for that reason. The Hansgrohe feels exactly like a heavy rain and is outrageously relaxing. The Delta here feels more like a hard downpour which is also pretty awesome, just different. No regrets with either purchase. I love them both.

Well-made Delta Product, albeit a bit expensive, and some plastic!
Overall, I like the product. It's rather expensive for what it is. I chose it because it matched all other chrome in our bathroom remodel (Cassidy Traditional Style) and I wanted something a little unusual and upscale looking. The showerhead works very well, giving a very pleasant steady and full stream, straight down, the size of the shower head. (Yes, the showerhead does tilt some, so I am able to point the spray to the very center of our large Kohler Expanse tub.) It is not too strong or too weak of a spray. As reviews say, many parts are plastic, which I found out is very common now. I wasn't thrilled about plastic (the tub spout and the showerhead) but I'm not having a problem with them and the chrome finish cleans off very well, wiping off water spots and soap spots with a soft micro or cotton cloth to a very nice shine. I like the ability to be able to control both the temperature of the water and the force of the spray separately. The shower does well, dialing back to a very soft spray while lathering or shaving, to save some water usage, and then dials back to full spray when needed, without any change in temperature.

It's gorgeous. I love this Cassidy chrome shower system. I bought it to go with my Cassidy bathroom faucet. I recommend installing it at least 7 1/2 ft high if there are tall people in the house. My husband is 6'4" and there is not much room between his head and shower head in flat position with this one installed 7 ft high. Luckily, this is the one in our guest room, and we'll install another in our master bath higher so he too can receive the full rainshower experience.

This gives a beautiful look and a great shower! I'm so happy with my choice on this. When this arrived, I was so impressed with the look and feel of the actual product. Top quality with reasonable price. It's easy to work. We can set the temperature and keep it there. The droplets easily rinse my long hair. Makes the shower very enjoyable!

Low GPM Rainfall Shower/High pressure
My husband was concerned purchasing a rainfall showerhead as he prefers higher pressure showers. This showerhead provides a 2.5GPM (if not cranked up all the way) that I think works and feels great. My husband will turn it full power, and is still satisfied with the pressure of the shower (Fair warning, you will run out of hot water after about 15minutes if running full blast (we have a 35gallon hot water tank).

A Five Star Shower
I do not understand the negative reviews. Did a complete remodel about 9 months ago, Two full baths, one half bath. I bought two full sets of Delta Cassidy shower assemblies with wands, tub faucets, and faucets for four sinks. They look great, work great. I have travelled the world, and have used five star bathrooms. I am pleased.

Works great
It is nice to get into the shower and it is always at the correct temperature. You set the temp where you want it and you never have to change it, just turn on the water and shower! And, it looks great!

Not as good as the last Delta I purchased
The media could not be loaded. I really wanted a faucet that had the 'temp setting' option ........ we had to buy another piece for about $50 that didn't come with this unit......not what I expected.......... be aware It works, but the temp setting dial piece feels 'rigid' ....... I should be able to adjust the temp without the water turning on ..... love the shower head, and the faucet shape is a nice change from the original styles...... not a big bang though for your bucks though.
