Everything looked good

Everything came as expected No complaints so far other than I was sent the wrong color. Double checked my order to make sure I ordered the correct one. Was sent a very pink one when I ordered grey. Will go ahead and keep it since it’s for a little girl. Just won’t match furniture in room. Not a huge deal. Just very pink.. FYI if you can’t find the filter packet it comes with when you first inbox, mine was located inside the unit stuffed up underneath the top of the inside of the pail. would never have found it until I pulled the can out and shook the unit and heard it.

Gets the Job Done

I had a Safety 1st pail that I didn’t like so I decide to get this one. I love that the Diaper Genie is hands free and the smell isn’t very bad or last long unless a diaper gets stuck in the opening. I love that you don’t have to wait to fill a bag to take it out. Will definitely suggest to others.

Fills up quickly with a newborn… maybe if bags were a bit wider they would fit more diapers. Works as expected.

Smell no more

This has to be the best thing from sliced bread. I absolutely loved my diaper genie. They hold soo much and you don’t have to worry about smelling dirty dipes.

Missing Piece

Actual bin is great, basically no installation. Was missing the bag refill though so for that reason didn’t give it five stars

Refills and Carbon filter are NOT missing. Check inside the Diaper genie

I read the recent complaints about the missing carbon filter and only one refill. When I received the box there was only one refill in the box and no carbon filter as well. But when you press the button at the front to open the diaper genie (as you would do to put in the refills) I saw the other 2 refills and the carbon filter. I request everyone else to check this. As a feedback to the company - please put all 3 refills along with the carbon filter into a separate package inside the box (not inside the diaper genie). Will update this with an actual review after I use it for a couple of months.

Great for CAT LITTER!!!

I bought this diaper genie to replace my litter locker! It's SO much better!! It has a foot petal to open the hole unlike litter locker which you have to hold with one hand and pull with the other. It's higher but thinner, so you get at least 30% more time in between emptying it. The bags lock the smell in much better than litter locker. Plus, the charcoal filter blocks additional odour.

Just get a trash can and put it on your deck or in your garage.

When it’s getting full the odour trapper doesn’t work as well. The refill cartridges, even off-brand, are expensive. The diapers were always getting stuck in the opening/closing odour trapper latch at the opening. You have to really wrap up the diapers tight to get many in the bag and make it worth it. A piece broke after 11 months because it’s all just cheap plastic, and it was unusable. We went to a garbage pail in our garage and love it. So much simpler. Plus, nice not to have the pail in the room smelling up the place when it gets full. The cartridges were easy to replace and the concept of emptying the bin by cutting and tying off the end of a “loop” bag coming out of a cartridge is a smart idea.

The media could not be loaded. Je ne sais pas si je dois blâmer la compagnie ou Amazon. Clairement cette poubelle n’est pas neuve. Si quelqu’un l’a retournée, aucun employé d’Amazon ne l’a vérifiée. Premièrement, la pédale pour ouvrir le couvercle ne fonctionne pas, nous avons dû forcer pour ouvrir le couvercle et nous avons constater avec DÉGOÛT qu’il y avait des excréments sur le couvercle. C’est totalement inacceptable !!! La poubelle est salle de partout, il y a des coulisse sur les côtés. Elle n’est même pas entièrement de la même couleur (je ne sais pas si c’est voulu). Je n’ai jamais eu de problème avec mes achats sur Amazon, mais sincèrement ça me dégoûte. Nous la retournons et prenons la chance d’en ravoir une NEUVE. Nous espérons sincèrement que celle-ci ne sera pas renvoyée à quelqu’un d’autre.

Gets Smelly but Does The Job

We had an older model and I never noticed the odour, this one does seem to get smelly, or absorb the smell after some time (even with regular emptying). I also find it doesn't hold as many diapers as the older model, but it is still a very convenient diaper garbage that isn't an eye sore, and doesn't take up much space. I think every nursery should have a diaper genie with the volume of diapers a baby goes through, so I am happy with the purchase overall.
