Take it everywhere

We bought this to change our little one on, and we honestly use this only. We didn't even need to buy a changing station we just use this to change our baby on. The only thing I don't like is that the Velcro to close it when we take it with us doesn't stick after awhile. But other than that I love it!

Brilliant product - perfect present for parents-to-be

I was given one of these when my daughter was born. It's super practical - we particularly like the plastic wipes box. We carried the mat around everywhere, great for two or three spare nappies for when you're out and about. Use in a change bag to have everything to hand or in a normal bag (great for dads). I've just bought this product again for use with our second daughter as our original one eventually ripped around the Velcro strap but it was used daily and lasted two years. They've changed the material of the mat to something slightly stronger now so we'll see how it lasts. The Velcro could do with being an inch or so longer as the mat doesn't quite shut if you've got larger nappies in it. And I have yet to find a nice flat pot to put cream in - I'm using a washed out Vaseline tin. :-) Another reviewer mentioned they thought the mat was small - I don't agree. I have a big toddler and we still change her on it. The quality of this product is ok, not brilliant, but for the money - especially compared to the ridiculous amounts you pay for change bags - it's great. I would highly recommend it.

Quality is OK but the velcro is rubbish!

I have been using this for a little over 2 years although not on a daily basis. The positives: The inner and outer fabric can be wiped clean. There is a small zipped pocket on the front handy for storing some cards or tissues. Easy to unfold and fold after use. Once folded, fits nicely into changing bag. Negatives: Not padded as the name suggests, or has very minimal padding. The Velcro fastening is rubbish, it is too short and flimsy and tore from the inner lining after a few uses. Design needs improvement: I found the wipes box unusable as it was too small to contain a standard pack of wipes but bulky if you try to fit it into the mesh pocket. Two or three (size 4) nappies or 5 (size 2) nappies can fit in the mesh pockets - more than that, the pad will not close. Once the Velcro has torn and you can't keep it closed, you can't hang it on your pushchair anymore therefore, the main issue for improvement has to be the quality of the velcro. A pity, because it could have been a nifty little invention.

I love this, bought almost a year ago

I love this, bought almost a year ago, used every day. I got one for my sister too. VErY lightweight, easy to carry, just pop it in your handbag or under your buggy and you know you've got all you need there. Great if you need to change the baby in the buggy, car or even in the baby changing rooms as the changing tables are cold and hard and not nice for the baby to lay on.... I don't use the plastic container for wipes that came with it, the pockets are big enough for a pack of wipes though, max 6 nappies and a cream = enough for a day's out The only thing is the velcro fastening - it catches on any soft fabric, so it ruined my summer scarf and also pulled few threads on our bedspread. But on the other hand you can pack and unpack it with one hand - which is very handy as you're most likely to have the baby in the other.

Terrible

I initially purchased this from reading all good reviews about this so thought it was a good choice. I now feel very disappointed and short changed. Even with one newborn nappy I struggled to do it up. I put the wipes in the box provided and it leaked everywhere. The velcro became non sticky so I couldn't do it up so it became difficult to hold my baby and carry this at the same time as it would just unravel. Also, Its not cushioned at all. It has been a complete waste of money. It would not recommend this product.

Great produce - if the velcro was re-positioned to allow more storage.

Very useful & fits well in a handbag. Shame the Velcro is not positioned correctly as if you put anymore than 2 nappies in, it won't close. I have no idea what the side zip is for as you can't fit anything in it thanks to the lack of Velcro position. Having said all this negative, this is the 2nd I've bought as it is such a handy size. The Velcro died on the old one within 2 months.
