Pockets were too small but perfect for traveling, lightweight
Really liked these. I'm usually size 8 or 10. Size 10 fit perfectly. There is no flex or stretch in waistband. Pockets were just smaller than I'd like.

ExOfficio Womens Nomad 7" Shorts continue the high standards set by that label years ago. This has been my go-to outdoor clothing line for more than 25 years. Size 8 fits my 5'3", 125# frame perfectly. The quality is amazing. Six pockets and a trim fit make these shorts a big hit, so much so that I bought a second pair in a different color. Experience has proven the fabric will endure years of hiking, travel and normal everyday use. Slight puckering at the seams from laundering can be minimized by stretching the seams while the garment is still wet. They are perfect for travel since they fit into small spaces and dry quickly, except in the Amazon where apparently nothing ever dries. After so many years they give no hint of the challenges they have faced: No rips, missing snaps, broken zippers, tears or stains. I would still be wearing them were it not for having dropped 40 pounds over the past year. The design is timeless and the soft fabric will last "forever".

Worth every penny…..and then some!
Don’t let the price of these shorts prevent you from enjoying wonderful fitting, comfortable, durable, and good looking shorts! They are amazingly soft and lightweight with functional pockets. I wish they came in black, but dark gray and light gray are terrific neutrals and have been my daily wear shorts for a few months now. I wish I had just got them first instead of trying a dozen plus others that just did not compare in fit or quality, but were less expensive. Proof that you get what you pay for!

I was disappointed. The size 8 had to be returned ..too tight in the waist. The size 10 isn’t much better but hope springs eternal that I can lose a few pounds before going on the safari trip for which this purchase was made.
