This filter has the lowest flow resistance and a very high filtration efficiency

I've tested a LOT of filters over the years for shop air filtration systems. THIS filter is the only one that gives very low flow resistance (lower than most MERV 8 filters) but, at the same time, it offers 94% filtration efficiency for particles > 0.5 microns. The secret is that this filter has about 2x as many pleats as every other filter I've tested so it has about the same filtration area as a 4" filter. That's how it gives the best of both worlds... low flow resistance like the cheap fiberglass filters and high filtration efficiency (MERV13) at the same time. I won't use any other filter from now on. Kudos to the 3M engineers who put this one together.

Excellent product

I do hate that everything cost so much these past months; including these filters. I purchased sizes: 12x12, 20x20, 20x24. They all fit quite snuggly. The unidentified odor in the bonus room has nearly completely gone. A vast Improvement. I intended to repurchase these as needed (if I am able to afford them).

Did not fit well in the 24 x 24 slot

Its more expensive than other brands and does not fit well.. you have to force it in the slot.. all other filtrete filters and other brands fit to perfection. This one was a little big..

Good Filter

I couldn’t find these high efficiency filters locally. The package arrived a day late, but was properly boxed and undamaged. The filters themselves were sealed, and had more pleats than than the one in the furnace, which was plugged with black smoke from fires and had collapsed. It fit properly and a test run with the furnace seemed to show good air flow and it didn’t collapse.

Definitely not a perfect fit....

mine didn’t fit in I had to bend the corner but it is the exact size I have used before from a brick and mortar store. I doubled checked when it didn’t go right in... I tried the 2nd one and it fit better but still had to crush the corner to get it to fit... filter I took out went right in and out. Evidently they are not all exactly made the same size because even in my 2 pk one fit better than the other...

Damaged filter

Filter as a whole is a good product. However I received it damaged as the pics indicate. It will likely still function okay but it is disappointing I got it in such bad condition. It appeared to be damaged prior to it being placed in shipping box. I don’t think it was worth the time to send it back, I can live with it. Hope they are more careful next time.
