Not too great durability of materials.

Tried to tighten a strap on one, and it just ended up getting broken. It's a decent weight, but materials are pretty basic I guess. Won't return, just going to reengineer the strap.

Easy to adjust, comfortable to wear

I like that the weights are metal and fairly easy to remove to adjust the weight. I recommend keeping the extra weights in the original box or a designated bag so you can find them when needed. My husband uses them on a broom handle for PT from shoulder surgery and I use them on my ankles for PT for my hips. We only adjust them as our PT increases our weight. . We have not used them for walking.

Weights adjust to varied exercises.

I love these ankle weights. The weights are variable to your needs so you can increase or decrease for strength training. I use as ankle weights for floor leg exercises and I use them on my wrists or hold in my hands for when I'm walking the track to build upper strength.

Great Set of Weights if You Can Reconfigure the Velcro Straps

The iron wights are a better concept than the sand/shot bags weights. Where they fail is in securing the 2 piece Velcro strap. They heat seamed the straps together, they separated very easily. Since the strap with the label has a bout 2” of loop, I reversed the section of strap with the label and attached it to the other section of the Velcro strap with the hooks. Works great, except the label is upside down. Who cares, I would take the label off, but it is heat seamed to the Velcro strap, so I left it alone. I am keeping them.

nice quality, maybe not a snug fit for smaller ankles

i really like the heft and comfort of these ankle weights, with the added security of actual weight bars rather than the leak-able sand that seems to be most popular among other models. i haven't tried to remove any of the individual weights yet, so i can't speak to how difficult/easy that process is. so far, i've preferred to use them at their full weight capacity. two cautions: first is the size adjustment. even at their tightest, these slip and slide toward my calves quite a bit when i use them for leg lifts. i never thought of myself as having particularly tiny ankles, but it's true that I am only 5 feet tall and weigh about 118 pounds. so, these might not be the most secure choice for small women. second, if you're planning to use these to simply walk in them (rather than for targeted floor exercises), be warned that the weight bears down on your shoes if you can't tighten them enough to grip your ankles snugly.

Well Made First Set 20 years.

I been using GoFit Uncle weight near 20 years. In average 4-5 days a week, long hours. Weight Pockets worn out at the bottom, so I wore them upside down for few months. Time to buy new one, 6lb and 10lb, they are even built better. I enjoy using them anytime i can.

Gotta love em

I should have gotten the 5 lb x2 set, but regardless, they add plenty of resistance to any workout and are comfortable enough to wear throughout the day. I like that you can easily remove the weights to adjust to the perfect amount of resistance. I also REALLY like that the weights are metal as opposed to sand filled ankle weights which have a tendency to leak over time.
