Not for serious ballers

I thought this was great, until I actually received it…. The intention was for it to help my son do target practice inside the house to perfect his pitch. If you are also trying to do the same, you should avoid this product. It’s a great idea and can be used as a novelty item, but definitely not for serious pitcher trying to improve accuracy and precision. Why doesn’t it work? The balls are soooooo sticky that the balls don’t release from your hand. I had to throw a test ball myself because I thought my son was exaggerating, but he wasn’t exaggerating. I had to modify my pitching form to release it correctly, which definitely f***s you up, even then, half of them released from my hand so late they just went splat onto the floor. If you’ve used any rosin or pine tar, the balls are stickier than that! In the end, we had to give it away to my 2 year old nephew for him to play with. Totally not worth the $$$ if you wanted to improve pitcher accuracy and precision. Highly recommend going with a Velcro style instead (that definitely won’t stick to your hand) if you can find them…

Fun game for the kids!

This a safe throwing game for indoor use. The catcher comes rolled up and is held up by peeling off the adhesive back. The balls are tacky with the consistency of compressed memory foam. The tacky texture held up pretty well in our house, but did not stay on the catcher poster for long. After a few seconds, the balls will fall to the ground and would not stay on the poster. If you’re playing on carpet, or a dusty environment, I’d be concerned that would expedite the loss of tack. Both my kids enjoyed playing it for over an hour, so there is certainly a fun factor, but with a little concern as stated above. Also ordered extra replacement balls that comes in a 4 pack. If played within reason, I assume can last a long time. The instructions state that if the balls lose tack over time, they can be washed in soapy water to get the tack back.

Fun Indoor Game for Kids

This is a decal that you adhere to the wall. It is accurate size and height to simulate a catcher. The balls stick to the decal briefly then fall. It was a fun game for our kids. It comes with four balls but be sure to order the replacement balls as the tackiness of the balls lessens after repeated use.

Great strike zone; Balls too sticky

Super fun to play with. The strike zone is great, just make sure you have a glass door big enough to fit it (ours barely fit- phew!) Balls have a fun consistency, texture, and weight and they stick to the strike zone as intended. However, they also stick to your hands so the release when pitching gives less accurate control to the thrower.

Fun buy

This is definitely fun, although the balls are sticky and can be washed to keep the stickiness, they dont stick to the poster board and roll to the floor where they eventually get debris

Fun indoor trainer

Great game for winter indoor practice. My 7-year-old was so excited to setup the practice board and he was able to do so all on his own. The balls are squishy so they will not harm the walls. Practice poster is easily removable without harming the wall. This has been a wonderful way for my three boys (7,9,11) to practice drills together in our warm basement. Very reasonably priced and worth each penny.

Fun, doubles as fast-math trainer

Me and the kids had a good time with this on this unusually cold day in the south. The vinyl catcher poster was larger than I was expecting, so once we found the right wall to mount it, the game was on! Oddly, for as sticky as the ball was coming out of the hand on a pitch, it only stuck for the poster for a couple (to few at the most) seconds. This stick-time diminshed fairly quickly after hitting the carpet several times...it made me realize how mich my vacuum isn't picking up! We did wash & dry them to regain most of the tackiness, but this was kind of a pain to have to do every 5-6 rounds. Hey, it even doubled as an educational toy, as the kids needed to add & keep track of their scores before the balls lost their grip and fell off the poster. Overall, it was a good way to spend an hour or so on a cold Sunday spent indoors, and will be good to play with again on the next non-outdoor optimal (i.e., cold, rainy, etc.) day.

Fun, balls easy to clean (good thing!)

This is a fun set and a great way for kids to relieve a little stress indoors by themselves or engage in a friendly competition. The balls had a delayed release from my hands because they stick to it, which caused me to throw low, but just took a few tries to readjust. It is a game after all, not practice for the majors! The poster is very realistic and the balls stick well to it, as well as everything else they contact (see second picture), They are very easy to clean in plain water (picture #3) and a child could easily do it. The poster has a textured vinyl like surface with a sticky back. The balls are fun just to squeeze, they are so soft and moldable; they may spend as much time as a squish stress relief tool as being pitched! If you don't have a place to stick the poster, could mount it on poster board and use a poster frame to hang it.
