Can't say enough great things about this brand of chipboard.

I love this brand of chipboard. I've bought it before and was excited to see it came in this size in white. The edges are very smooth, they are all cut to the exact same size, and I would have to say the thickness was medium thickness (too thick to use in a machine like the Cameo) but perfect if you are using a machine that cuts steel rule dies. I can't believe how affordable the price is and "NO SHIPPING" through Amazon Prime. Normally, the shipping would cost you more than the chipboard because it is so heavy. If you own the new Big Shot that accommodates 9" in width, you won't need a special paper cutter to cut this down to size if you plan to use them with steel rule dies.

Grafix Medium Weight Chipboard

This is nice medium weight chip board. It's actually .057 inches (1.45 mm) thick. For reference a penny is .061 inches (1.55 mm) thick. It's white on one side and kraft so you can use either side depending on your liking. I also use it wrapped with paper as a mini serving tray for small appetizers. Holds up well for this application too. At the time of purchase I paid $8.79 or .35 per board. Locally, I can only get it in packs of 6 for about $5.00 so it was definately a bargin for me to order it on amazon. I used it on my Cricut die cut machine with a new deep cut housing blade. I used the following settings recommended by Provo Craft. Provo Craft states:m Chipboard (0.059"/1.50mm thick) with the recommended stettings of Speed 3 (medium) Pressure 4 (high) Depth 6 Multi Cut 5 Will definately purchase more to make mini books in the future!

Just a minor point

I bought 2 sets of the white, and 2 sets of the black. I used some of the black to make a mini album for Halloween. I'm happy with the quality; thin, but strong. I easily bound the pages with my Zutter bind it all. Just don't make the mistake I did. Because the pack said 6"x6" I started to pre-cut some of the paper to save time. However, I found out that the board is just a hair over 6". I'd say about 1/4" , needless to say the paper I cut was too short. Fourtunately, I was able to cover the mistake by hiding in the binding, and cover the other one with a piece of paper and making a pocket. Would buy this again.

Curved in Shrinkwrap Package, Brown Kraft on Reverse and Edges

Previously bought a different version and was impressed by the quality. This one (Grafix Medium Weight 6-Inch-by-6-Inch Chipboard-Sheets, White 25-Pack) is disappointing and thinner, very similar to the kraft/white backer on a spiral. Boards are only white on one side and the exposed edges are kraft. A few had feathery. unfinished cuts with slivers hanging. When I tried to pull them off, the white part tore a bit. These seem to need a bit of prep work to flatten and clean up as needed where the previous pack was 100% ready to use.

Holds up well and a great value

I didn't realize these are white only on one side but other than that they are sturdy and well made. They bend a bit when painted with acrylic but will lay flat again slowly as the paint dries. I have used several different types of glue on them and they haven't bubbled, buckled or warped from the moisture in the glue. A very well made product and quite a good value when used for crafting.

Nice cheap alternative to expensive materials

Works great as book board! I've used this a for a few small projects and I've been pleased with the results.

They're perfect: if you fold a 9x12 sheet of parchment ...

I bought these for making book covers. They're perfect: if you fold a 9x12 sheet of parchment into quarters to make pages, the books are 6 inches tall, which fits in these perfectly (just cut a little off one side).
