Works great

I ordered two of these because my cat kept getting into my hamper and clean laundry. One for dirty clothes, one for freshly washed clothes. I love my cat but he gets his dirty litter paws into everything. These helped me keep his furry butt and his litter off of my clothes. He does love to jump on top of them though, so be aware they will fall through if they are heavy enough and the basket is empty enough. Just a warning for chunky cat owners.

Not bad, but won't keep cats out

I got these to keep my cats out of the laundry. The top lid kind of rests over the opening and it is pretty easy for the little demon balls to jump on top and push the lid down inside. So for the purpose I bought them for, not super helpful. But if you just want a nice way of hiding your dirty clothes this would do the trick.

Nice stylish hamper. Holds a lot of clothing and the handles are convenient for moving. I feel like it’s a little cheap though.

New hamper

Bought 2 of these as we have a new puppy that was constantly getting into our old, open hamper. These are nice - decorative and provide nice closed storage for dirty clothes - and they are puppy proof.

Kind of Flimsy

Pros: taller than it is wide so good for small spaces; super easy to put together ( just unfold it; looks decent Cons: it’s not that sturdy: the material beneath the fabric will easily bend so I’m not sure how long it will last

Lid not really functional

Nice and sturdy but the lid is not functional. The folds on the lid keeps collapsing so you have to hold them open to close the lid down.

DO NOT lean ANYTHING against it...

...or put anything on top of it, or overstuff it. I didn't have sense enough to know that, and the first one I owned I destroyed. It's constructed out of corrugated plastic, that stuff you make posters out of for car wash signs and stuff, and will work faithfully and reliably if you remember that is is fabric with easily bent corrugated plastic living beneath said fabric. That warning being clearly spelled out, while this hamper is not for people that leave laundry piled so high it overflows the lid or children's bedrooms, it is P E R F E C T for an adult that takes care of their things. You can easily have this thing for years if you don't put things on the lid or lean things against it when it's empty (or ever). Also, don't dump laundry out of it, it'll bend, trust me. You have to dig it out the old fashioned way. It looks really good, it's well sewn together, and the one thing I love...it doesn't make your room smell like @$$! It actually keeps the stinky stuff contained, and is real Febreze friendly, which is a plus. So, if you can manage to follow the rules I learned the hard way to follow, this one is a better buy than the ones they have a ton of on Amazon with the flip lid that doesn't have the sides like this one does. That's the difference between smell leaching out vs smells contained. It's perfect if you're careful.

It’s definitely a get what you paid for product. Works, but it’s pretty sturdy. The rim of the lid didn’t really fit over the edges of the basket on mine.
