Says Skandia but is Hampton Forge but I nice.

So for $90 (@ time of this review) you get 4 boxes with 5 pieces in them. One butter, knife, two spoons and two forks. Don’t ask me what each fork and spoon are called because I couldn’t tell you what I can tell you is that the smaller fork is definitely thinner than I’m used to and the large spoon seems really large. I really like the forge frosted design and honestly was quite afraid that maybe it was a frosted would start wearing down but it hasn’t after multiple washes. So far they are holding up great. Appreciate the 25 year limited warranty, yes hand washing is recommended but says dishwasher safe.. and honestly I don’t have time to hand wash all of them. Be weary of using lemon detergent products because it can wear down the frosted look. Overall, I give these four stars because they have minor quirks.

Good quality, but a little bit narrow

When i first opened the box i thought i was sent the wrong product. The outer shipping box shows hampton forge, but the 4 individual packs of 5 silverware don't mention hampton forge at all, they just say Skandia, upon looking at the warranty card i confirmed they are from hampton forge. The silverware set feels like great quality. Each piece has a good heft to it, and was polished nicely, i would consider these to be on the heavy side for silverware. Cosmetically they look great. The knifes are serrated and every piece is marked with skandia china 180. There's a 25 year limited warranty. They recommend hand washing, but say they are dishwasher safe. Also they specify no washing with detergents that contain lemon. The only issue i have is the forks and spoons feel a little bit more narrow than i would of liked, but overall it is a nice set.

Visually appealing, but too lightweight

This is a visually very appealing set of sliverware. The combination of the matte-finish textured handle with the shiny body of the utensils is very cool! The forks are fairly standard, though there isn't as much of a difference as I would expect in size between the small and large size forks. The knife is also pretty straightforward - it's easy to hold, and cuts well. The knife handle is a little wider than the rest though, enough so that it causes a bit of an issue in the dishwasher. Our dishwasher has individual slots for utensils, and the knife handles from this set get stuck in the slots. The spoons in this set are a little unique - they're much deeper than other spoons that I have, and the scoop feels longer - more of a "boat" shape and less of a "bowl" shape, if that makes sense. The set is surprisingly lightweight - that may be a benefit or it may not, pending your preferences. For me, the set feels a little too lightweight - despite the premium appearance, it feels just a bit "cheap" when picked up. Overall though, it's a nice set. I don't know that it would be my first choice next time I need a set, and they're made a little underwhelming relative to their cost - but they're visually attractive, comfortable to use, and sufficiently durable.

Beautiful set

I needed a few extra utensils, and so I ordered this set. I love it! The pieces are heavy, not light or cheap feeling at all. Plus, they're also very attractive. I'm seriously thinking about ordering another set, and getting rid of my old set because I like these so much more.

Nice weight; very small fork

This Hampton Forge 20 piece silverware set has a nice weight and feels durable. The pieces are comfortable in my hands and do not have sharp edges. I ran the pieces through the dishwasher immediately upon receipt and noticed that they show water marks terribly. You’d think the matte/brushed finish would prevent that, but it doesn’t. The salad (dessert?) fork is also comically small. I’ve compared it with a fork from our previous set to see the difference. The rest of the pieces are of adequate size and, when water spots aren’t present, looks aesthetically pleasing.

Gorgeous set, well balanced pieces

I love this silverware set, it's gorgeous in person! It looks and feels very expensive and very classy! It's so well balanced and very comfortable and easy to use. Nice and large size. Excellent!

Sturdy, textured and lovely

This set of flatware looks lovely with my dinner plates. The utencils when being held are sturdy. You know you have a piece of quality material in your hand. It will not bend under pressure easily. The texture on the handles allow you to grip them so they do not slip. We absolutley love this addition to our daily dinner ritual.
