Works great
The product is a very good one, my complaint is the tube was split and half the product was in the packing

OK for normal hair, not so good for dry hair
Smells lovely and goes on without a buildup into my thick natural hair. Outside of that I was not really super in love with this leave in conditioner. I also used it on my son’s hair who has a finer texture than mine and it really did not do any better of a job then something I can purchase from my local store. For dry hair, this just does not do the job I need it to do for me. Then looking at all the ingredients contained in this bottle versus one of my favorite brand, this is not one that I reach for often if at all.

Made with Chemically Modified Silicone
Ugh, I was duped by my own naivete. Found Denoue's volumizing mousse & was thrilled it was Silicone free. Foolishly thought the line was silicone free. It is not. The Hero Hydration, which completely softens hair, as it should, Is not only made with silicone but, a chemically modified version Amodimethicone. Why is this bad? Bc it suffocates your hair by never washing off. Ever. It acts like a parasite depriving your hair of nutrients and hydration. Creates the ultimate irony of the illusion of soft hair, While removing all hope of ever having truly soft hair. Was so comforted by the Vegan & Made in Canada info, failed my due diligence Lesson for the Wise~ Never Assume. Get the facts.

Nourishing and moisturizing, fantastic smell
I am a swim instructor and coach with dry, straight, thin hair. I also mother 5 daughters who are competitive swimmers, all have straight hair of different textures, shoulder length and longer. We go through a lot of conditioner. This arrived in simple squeeze tube with a foil seal under the lid to ensure you will know if it has been tampered with. The conditioner has a lovely vanilla scent which is pleasant and not too heavy. The cream itself is thick and if rubbed between your hands smooths into your hair nicely. It is very moisturizing and nourishing. We found that it made their hair much more brushable. You have to be careful not to use too much of this or it will weigh your hair down.

Better Suited for Damaged or Thicker Hair
The texture and weight of the Denoue Hero Hydration leave-in conditioner are likely better suited for someone with damaged or thicker hair. It is very hydrating and seemingly nourishing, but the thick white, creamy, lotion-like medium is a hint too heavy for my thin, fine, naturally lifeless locks. I can use a small amount, focusing just on the ends, and it still leaves me flat. I don't have damaged or dry hair. I don't heat style often, nor do I color-treat. And there is nothing wrong with this Hero Hydration leave-in conditioner - creamy texture, hydrating, unmemorable scent. It simply wasn't suitable for my needs.

Good moisturizing hair lotion. Just a little messy and need to wash hands afterwards.
This is like hair lotion. I have used leave-in hair treatments before, but all of them are in liquid format. This is my first ever in cream and lotion texture. It seemed to keep my hairs moisturized for most of the day and it also made my hairs shiny and easy to manage. Only a small portion is needed for my naturally thin and dry hairs, so this 5oz should last me for at least a month for daily use. The only downside is it can not be sprayed evenly on hairs and it requires hand washing afterwards. I will update for any obvious long term benefits.

Rich, heavy conditioner
For my curly-haired girl with coarse hair, this was a great choice and she liked it a lot. For me, with fine hair it was way too heavy except on my ends. It has a lot of really good ingredients in it like castor oil that are like nectar for an irritated scalp and encourage healthy hair growth. What I really love about this one? It SMELLS amazing. If you have the right hair type for it, you'll love the smell. Does not compete with other fragrances and is very mild and pleasant.

I'm impressed! w/pic (super fine hair here)
I love a good leave in conditioner but they're hard for my particular hair type, I have long, super straight, fine, color treated hair. This time of year as the seasons change my scalp can get oily but my hair dry and prone to static (fun stuff lemme tell you). My hair also has some breakage so using a good leave in can reduce the look of that. ALSO some leave ins are too heavy for my fine hair so yet another thing I have to watch out for. I have my favorite but it's not perfect so i'm always willing to try something else. I was offered this denoue brand Hero Hydration leave in, at time of review it runs 12.83 per 5fl oz, which is a lot pricier than what I usually use but if it's worth it, I'll switch... So I've been using the leave in for a week, the instructions say apply to towel dried hair- and I have been. I let my hair air dry typically, once it is the leave in makes my hair just a little stiff/crispy but that's typical of a leave in, a few passes with the fingers through my hair leaves it soft and surprisingly not weighed down- also very little visual signs of breakage which is super nice. I also have used the conditioner on my hair dry and it works nicely that way as well, though admittedly not as nice as when on damp hair. The smell is a faint floral/citrus that doesn't stick around after its in my hair, and my hands don't feel sticky after using it. I'm definitely leaning towards this being my new go to conditioner. I will use it until it's gone and go from there!
