Outstanding output for a small fan

Bought these for sitting on a lake house screen porch in SC in July. Horrible humidity but comfortable on the porch thanks to this fan. I purchased 2 so our family could visit on the porch during the afternoon hours comfortably.

Highly Recommend. Best for this price range.

I live in a basement apartment in Ga with no air conditioning. I also have fibromyalgia, and one of the symptoms is fluctuating body temperature. For its cost and size the Honeywell Turbo Force 906 is surprisingly powerful. I’ve tried both the Honeywell and the Vornado and, though the Vornado is smaller, I found the airflow of the Turbo Force to be far superior. It also outperformed two older model floor fans I had, one of which was a tower fan. No fan is soundless, but this one is relatively quiet. Its highest setting provides a low level of white noise while sleeping and is not noticeable at all with a tv or music playing while awake. I have 3, and when the oldest one started rattling a bit, I found that giving it a thorough cleaning solved the problem. Fans always seem to naturally attract dust and need cleaning, so the removable grill also helps to elevate this fan above similar models. It’s relatively small, a bit shorter and wider than the average blender. It’s also lightweight and easily carried from room to room. I have found that it cools a bit better placed on a table or stool as opposed to the floor. It has a long enough cord that it can be positioned some distance from the plug. I honestly don’t think you can get a better fan in this size or price range, and it may even be better than some larger, pricier models.

Cleaning Fan Blades Needs Compressed Air

The front fan blade cover or grill is not removable, to wipe off or clean the fan blades. To clean the fan blades you will have to use compressed air (either in a can or with an air compressor). Called the manufacturer's customer service & asked how to remove the front grill to clean the fan blades. The agent advised me to purchase a can of compressed air or use an air compressor to blow air through the front & rear grills to clean off the fan blades - because the grill or housing can not be removed. Unfortunate & unexpected. The fan is quiet, compact design will not tip over easily, even though it is lightweight.

I got the oscilating model it broke in 3 months. And it runs hot. I swear this thing ran in the low 80s too hot for a groe room or dry area

Avoid at all costs.

This thing is just horrible. The first month is okay, it works fine without noise. Then all the cheap plastic parts that Honeywell insists on using for all of their parts, wear out or break. You’re in luck if you manage to make it two months and have this fan still working. Avoid this at all costs, you can get significantly better quality for significantly less money. Avoid Honeywell by all means, extremely poor construction with even lower quality materials. Other fans have lasted 4+ years running every single day. This fan, you’re thankful if you get three months. Calling this garbage is unfair to actual garbage.
