Purchased 4, Installed 2 and the last one was leaking.

I don't know if this is a quality control issue, but the 2nd one I installed was leaking pretty badly. I didn't want to cut it off the pipes after having glued it on, so I replaced the top from another one ... but it was still leaking. At this point I was worried that the bottom of the main valve itself was damaged, So I took it apart again and made sure that everything was seated properly before putting it together again. The one thing I did which I'm not sure made a difference is that I made sure that the flow control valve was completely open before I put it together again. I think that the tab from the control valve (when it's in a close position) prevents the unit from seating itself properly when put together. I'm not sure, but it worked. I sure hope that I don't have to go through this again with the remaining two that I have to replace.

Hunter is the best

Hunter is the only brand of sprinkler valves that can consistently handle the high water pressure levels on the ranch. Others fail within a year. (Water pressure levels on our system can peak at around 140 lbs static.)

Works as expected

Adding another zone to my Hunter irrigation system. This Zone controller was a Hunter product and worked perfectly. Easy to install and wire up.

This thing did well. I bought the exact one that my system used. I just took on the newer parts and moced them over to my old one without have to cut and glue.

Stopped the constant leak of water from pipes

Replaced another valve that was constantly leaking with this one and the leak has stopped.

Excellent valve.

Works well but is larger than it's predecessor. May require modification of piping to install.
