NOTÉIERT: Notéiert w.e.g. datt allgemeng d'Saugbecher op enger glater, propperer, trockener Uewerfläch plazéiert musse ginn. Et ass ganz wahrscheinlech datt mir mengen datt d'Uewerfläch propper ass, wann et tatsächlech net ass (vläicht huet Seefschued), oder et ass net eng komplett glat Uewerfläch. Och solle mir d'Saugbecher befeuchten ier Dir opmaacht a wa mir dat net maachen, funktionnéiert et och net. Also, et gëtt eng Technik fir dës ze halen, déi mir vläicht net realiséieren, besonnesch wa mir d'Zäit net huelen fir d'Richtungen ze liesen.

One out of three ain't bad?
First - I have the 'Razor Holder' version of this mirror. This review is for that model. A fog-free shower mirror only has to do a few things - cling to the wall, hold the razors it's designed to hold and stay fog free. This mirror accomplishes only one of these tasks (but it is the arguably most important one). So far he mirror does stay absolutely fog-free. I've had it in the shower for a few months and no problem with fog. Where this mirror begins to fall short is in the adhesion and razor-holding functions. The 'suction cups' are cups in name only, and provide marginal suction. They are actually very flat, and after receiving the mirror from Amazon I had to let it rest for a few days to let the material relax after shipping before it would hold suction at all. It now sticks to the shower wall fairly well, but the 'cups' do still need to be re-wetted every so often to keep adhesion - like most shower mirrors. Holding razors is an abject failure. As soon as I try to hang anything heavier than a single-blade disposable razor (i.e. virtually ANY razor made these days) the mirror is guaranteed to come crashing to the floor within a day or so - usually in the middle of the night :(. I finally gave up and resurrected my old shower mirror solely for the purpose of holding razors. I do continue to use the mirror for shaving and the mirror portion 'works', but I paid extra to get a mirror that holds my razors and didn't get my money's worth.

Rated 3 star only for its value as a puzzle.
I was ready to throw this thing in the trash after fighting with it for over an hour. The suction cups were wavey and only one would stick. I tried cleaning everything, I tried water on the cups, I tried everything I have ever used to get a suction cup to stick. The best I could get was for both cups to stick for less than a minute. Finally I gave up, hung my head in defeat and admitted I had made a bad purchase. The next morning I walked into the bathroom to take a shower and decided to try one more time. I took it into the shower with me, held it straight out and stuck it as hard as I dared. This time both cups stuck! About halfway through my shower however it popped loose on the same cup again. As I got out of the shower I decided to stick it one more time and see if it would be broken when I got home. To my surprise, it was still stuck tight that night. The next morning, it was still stuck, but it popped loose during my shower. I was a little encourage that I might be winning the war with this thing after all so I tried again. It has been over a week since that last attempt and it is still nice and tight. This gets a three star, not because of how well it sticks, not because of the quality of the funhouse reflection, and not because of its lack of any ability to be fog free, but because it was an inexpensive mind twister puzzle that took me three days to solve.

Great shower mirror
People who give this mirror a bad review need to understand some terminology and some physics. There is no such thing as "fog free." If the temperature of the mirror is below the dew point of the shower, water will condense on it. This happens often when you've got cold air and hot water and is very easy to do since a shower is typically 100% humidity. How do you get rid of the fog? Two ways - first, give it a little shot of water to warm it up a bit, increasing its temperature above the dew point. Or, put a little baby shampoo on the surface. Spit works equally well or, if you're too polite to spit,Jaws Quick Spit Antifog Spray, 1-Ounce - it's an old scuba diver trick. "Fog free" is the marketing term for "plastic." And, while "plastic" sounds like it's cheap, "Fog free" sounds like you're getting something good. What plastic does, which glass doesn't, is it will warm up quickly and (hopefully) above the dew point so water won't condense on it. You don't want a glass mirror in a shower. Distortion - yea, you're going to see a bit of distortion because polishing plastic to a perfectly flat distortion-free surface costs money, so you'd have to double the cost of the mirror and nobody will buy it. The suction cups are surprisingly efficient. But, on a dirty, rough, tile surface, some air is going to leak past the seal. The solution is, once a week re-seat the mirror on the wall so it doesn't fall off. I think this mirror is great, cheap, and does what I want it to do. If you want better quality, you'd have to spend over $100 bucks. I'd rather spend my money on something else and move on with life. This mirror is great.

Waste of Money
The suction cups on the one I received are flat at best. It would not hold on a tile wall or a glass one.

Overall gets the job done for a decent price.
I was tired of having beard hairs all over my sink and vanity so I needed an inexpensive mirror to put in my shower so my husband could shave in the shower. This is overall a decent looking shower mirror for a decent price. A few key points: 1. Yes this mirror does fog up but it's not that difficult to wipe off a little fog to be able to use it. 2. It wasn't the easiest to get up in my shower. For some reason I would be able to get one suction cup to attach to my shower but the other wouldn't be, so it took me awhile to get both auctions cups on there securely. 3. It looks decent hanging in the shower. Not very cheap looking, but it doesn't look high end either. 4. About 3-4 weeks after having it up in my shower it did fall off of the shower wall, but nothing broke on it and I put it back up and it hasn't fallen since. I have a feeling that it might have been my 6 year old son pulling on it that made it fall so I won't completely blame that on the mirror.

Shower shaving
Just what I wanted. it stops me getting moaned at when I leave pools of water on the bathroom floor. Why? Because now I can shave in the shower. Job done. Slight down factor, the suckers are not very good, despite having super tiles and glass sides in the shower. A silver plug chain solved that matter. A good idea

works well and is robust, mirror is a magnified type along with being smaller than I anticipated. I had difficulty with suction cups but once found the correct way it holds well. Putting the cup on the wall hold the mirror horizontally (mirror facing ceiling) lever it down. Job done

Awful
Doesn't stick to anything, the glass shower side, the tiles, nada. zilch. Eventually we got 1 suction pad to clamber on for all of about 2 minutes then it fell off.

Useless
What a ridiculous design-the suction cups have an outer casing which doesn't allow you to depress the cup and form the suction-thus, it won't stick and is in fact usless
