Excellent Shampoo

I’ve been using John Paul Mitchell products for years on my own hair as well as my dogs. This shampoo is my schnauzer’s favorite because it does not irritate his eyes and I’m able to thoroughly clean around his eyes and beard. It’s also gentle on his skin as he’s prone to irritation.

Works well

We just got a new kitty member of the family and she stunk of eau d'shelter (litter box). So she absolutely had to have a bath! This worked well, I did follow the advice on the bottle and soaped twice, rinsing well after each. The smell is faintly clean and made her fun shiny and soft.

Not my favorite but not bad. Who doesn't like Paul Mitchell for their pet and at this price you can't beat it unless you have a hairdressing license. If you're looking to wash your puppy or kitten it's perfect but if you have an older dog a regular size dog don't worry about it getting in their eyes this tearless one doesn't have a good scent doesn't get rid of any yellowness that may be on there for doesn't get rid of a lot of dirt it's good for puppies and kittens doesn't have a good scent it's not my first pick I like the oatmeal one and the one that gets rid of the purple one that gets rid of the yellow so unless you have a puppy or kitten I would pick a different

Good Price

This shampoo is lightly scented like the smell of baby magic I used to use on my kids. Which I love, however the scent does not last long and our cute pup smells like dog in 3 days. Her coat is shiny though so we believe that it has quality ingredients. I am adding some essential oils I love after her bath to give her longer lasting fresh smell.

I have a long hair chihuahua

I gave her at least a dozen baths with this shampoo. It smells like a baby and leaves her fur soft and non drying. She is 5 yrs old, not a puppy but it shouldn't matter. I really enjoy it. No issues with teary eyes, although I don't put soap very close to her eyes. I would buy it again. Since my dog is small the bottle lasts for a while. It doesn't lather up very foamy so for larger dogs you may feel you have to use a lot. It is not an issue for me though. I do love that way she smells after she dries, just like a newborn baby. update: Almost two years later.... my dog is now 7 and I still use this shampoo. It always does a nice job with cleaning, leaving her fur very soft, never drying her skin and it smells like baby powder. I thought about using other dog shampoos for a change, but this work fine and I wouldn't want to change what already works well. I am very happy with the product. It is very gentle.

Lovely Jubly

This shampoo was bought for an 8 week old solid black English cocker spaniel . We wanted something with a name we could trust that would be gentle on the puppy and on the coat we didn't Want harsh ingredients that would strip the coat of nutrients of a little one so young .. It was have beautiful results and will last ages

The best!

This shampoo is great! My Cavalier puppy is very comfortable getting washed with this. No irritation, no strong smell. She is sooooo silk after every bath. LOVE IT! Get the conditioner and leave in spray too it's worth it!

Good Shampoo

I am not sure the "tearless" promise actually works because I did not try to wash my cats' faces with it (!), but it does have a nice smell, and their fur was clean, shiny and soft after the bath. It's a good shampoo.

I’m never using anything else!

After one use my dogs coats was noticeably softer! The hubby and the kids all commented how soft his coat was and everyone also noticed how good it smells! Honestly the scent is fabulous! I look forward to the dog having a bath so that we can use this shampoo! Honestly such a great product above any other we have used in the past decade on our dog!
