I was really concerned about the quality of a product from a company named Buyers! Don't let the name stop you from buying this box, its top shelf all the way. I believe the aluminum is about 12ga or about an 1/8 of an inch thick. Yes it costs about 3 times the cost of the el cheapo's but its a "you get what you pay for" One reviewer stated you can't sit on the $90 box without bending it, well this box a 400 lb man can jump on it without bending it.
