NOT WET LOCATION RATED

Look nice, decently bright. Label on the lights themselves say for indoor use only. Cannot be used in wet location. The front cover is open with nothing to stop water ingress. The driver inside appears to be unsealed and susceptible to water damage. You could use these in a damp location only, but definitely not a wet one and not outdoors as the description would lead you to believe.

Not instant-on, I bought 3 units to use as tread lights for the staircase to my second floor. They provide a nice, even white light at night, but you can see each one come on independently with about 1/4 second delay (and the delay is not equal between the three). I would buy them again, just close your eyes when you flip the switch if the uneven starts would bother you.

This product I will say was OK. Holes not cut out all the way properly but overall worked well. Not an expensive piece though.
