Works good and linked with my older detectors. Doesn't have voice warning but who cares. If your house is on fire, you're not going to care if the detector talks to you.

Beautiful design and easy to install.

I really like these. Love the modern look. They were easy to install and the wiring matched perfectly to the old ones. I had them up in less than a minute each (minus moving the ladder)

The Product-Great! Delivery? Not so much!

Absolutely no problem with this alarm. It was a replacement for an 8 year old Kidde alarm that was the same model. Easy to install and no problems since the installation. The only issue was the delivery. It came via U.S. Mail, straight from the electric company vendor and was placed in my mailbox. There was no indication that it had been delivered. No email or "Alexis" notification. I check my mail every few days and was surprised to see this rather bulky package jammed into my mailbox. It took awhile to pull it out along with other mail.

Great for baking!

We had old smoke detectors in our house that were installed prior to us living here, and while they worked - they went off almost any time I baked anything (without burning the baking!). These new smoke detectors work great, they very rarely go off from baking/cooking (I believe maybe once or twice since we've owned them). We did have a professional come and install them as we wanted to make sure they were installed properly so I can't say how easy they were to install, and we haven't had to remove any of them yet.

Reliable Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detector

When looking for a reliable smoke & carbon monoxide detector, Kiddle delivers. The removal and installation process is straightforward and took me a few minutes to setup. For reference, my previous Kiddle detector lasted about 7 years so it didn't quite reach the 10 year mark I was hoping for. Unlike other smoke detectors that have a blinding status light, especially at night, Kiddle's status light is a soft green that won't disturb you when trying to sleep. The alarm is loud when it goes off, but it does the job of getting your attention as it should in case of an emergency.
