Good Value

This load binder is a good value in that the quality per dollar is high. There are spots on the unit I received where there was no paint at all, but it was in places where in the course of using the product the paint would come off, anyway. The price was much lower than the exact same unit from my local retailers. I use this as the primary tie down for my mini tractor when transporting.

Completely Unusable

This product is completely unusable. It will not lock into the locked position rendering it completely useless. I purchased this item when I returned from a trip to replace a bad one. I did not look at it in detail because, well, what is there to "not work" on a chain binder? Take a look at the pictures as they tell the story better than I can. The sad part is I ordered a second one and didn't check it either. By the time I needed to use them, the Amazon Return date had already passed. Yeah, bad on my part for not checking, but also bad on the manufacturer part for distributing faulty binders. If I could give it a minus star, I would...
