Fun project!

I got two of these for my granddaughters and they loved them! They enjoyed decorating their own butterflies and were super proud of their creations.

A lot of fun for girls, appeals to wide age range, too.

I purchased several of these for girls aged 4-13. Surprisingly, it was a hit with all of them. They all had so much fun making their own butterfly creations. Because they went over so well, I purchased several more after Christmas for our gift closet. I'm keeping them on hand for upcoming birthday parties. The box the butterflies are packaged in is a nice size, and gives this item an overall appearance of being a nice gift. The contents are also of a good quality, so your child's butterfly creations should hold up for a long time. Lastly, I initially purchased them because my two daughters both really enjoy arts and crafts, but two of the other girls who received them really weren't into that type of thing. However, those two had just as much fun and spent a great deal of time perfecting their creations. So it's safe to say that this item appealed to not only girls of varying ages, but also varying interests. Overall, I believe this butterfly kit is a great purchase for little, and not so little girls.

The idea is great and the butterflies are nice

The idea is great and the butterflies are nice, but the paint is cheap, and in most cases was unusable (I bought three kits to be used with my 4 nieces, and almost all paints were dried up or clumpy). I had to go to the art store and spend extra $$ on better quality paints and more decorative plastic jewels to be glued on for decoration. With these additions, my nieces and I had a lot of fun making these butterflies, and they came out quite pretty. However, it is important to note that had I not purchased better paints and glue on decorations, this project would have been a total bust. I spoke to a friend who had the exact same experience with this product.

Great craft for kids.

Bought for my Granddaughter last year and just bought another as part of my Great Niece's Birthday present. Came out so pretty and are hanging on my Daughter's back porch.

Gift for 7 year old

This was a huge hit! The little girl I bought this for loved it and was so excited to get started on decorating her butterflies! When i went to visit her about a week later she had her beautifully decorated butterflies hanging above her bed! I was so happy that she found so much joy in decorating and hanging her OWN creation in her room. I will definitely be buying from this company again! Thanks so much!

Very Pretty! Fun and quick activity, great room decor

This is a great item - the kids decorate their butterflies with the provided supplies and then you can hang them up. It is quick and the end result is very pretty and whimsical. The included barrettes don't turn out very well though. I buy this kit and gift it for birthdays for my girls friends often.

For Creative Kids

An excellent item for 'busy' kids who love to make pretty things. This was very well received by my 6 year-old niece, not least for the dazzling array of pretty colours. Also by her mum, who could see it was safe to play with. It's exactly as described by the manufacturing company, who seem to have put a lot of thought into their products, which seem to me to be as affordable as they are desirable.

Easy to make

My 4 year old and 2 year old both enjoyed painting and gluing the butterflies. Only downside was that the butterflies on the hair slides got stuck in their hair! Ut good for a rainy day

Brilliant kit, lovely product

Easy to make, with clear instructions. The butterflies look lovely when complete and make a great addition to a little girl's bedroom, we have hung them on the wall and they look very effective.
