Color not the same as advertised

The color is not as light as pictured at all, it’s much more of a “skin light tan color” like most underwear/shape wear you would find in stores. Disappointed in the color, definitely was looking for more of that almond pale shade.

Worth the risk

Im 5'4 and 140lbs at 15 weeks pregnant and normally wear a small in everything. I ordered a size small in this shaper. Nicely affordable maternity shaper with good support. My thighs are a little bigger than the average size small woman. I ordered the small before learning they recommend you size up. The legs do cut me off a little but it doesn't bother me much because I haven't noticed any weird lines or bulges under my clothes. This product does stretch out and lose a little of its support if I wear it more than twice without washing and drying. I'm sure it will be less of a problem as I get further along. Overall, my only real complaint is that the legs seem disproportionately small, but it's a good product for half the cost of name brand shapewear.

Good value but....

I like these shorts, except I expected the fabric to be much softer. These are more like nylon tights cut off at the knee. I find it hard to wear nylons all day, just not that comfortable, and I wanted these shorts to wear under skirts on hot days to avoid thigh chaffing. Nylon on hot days don't go together! These also don't offer much belly support, but do help a little if your skirt has to sit under belly. Good for under skirts in cooler months.

PERFECT

Purchased these to wear under maternity dresses to prevent thigh chafing. After reading reviews I ordered a size up. Basically, these are the best product ever. I own so many pairs of the nonpregnany equivalent and these are the best I've owned yet! Actually long enough to stay in lance and prevent the chafing. The downside to this could be for those of you who prefer shorter dresses. I prefer midi le goth and for that, these are ideal. For the min dresses I have I scrunch these up and they work but can sometimes be spotted. They are so comfortable as well as show no lines! Good sturdy quality and excellent price for what you get. I need a pair in nonmaternity!

Breathable and comfy

I ordered this in a medium I'm 7 months pregnant 170lbs and it fit very comfortable. It didn't leave bumps nore did it leave marks on my skin. I wouldn't wear it for everyday use but definitely fits nice under dresses. If you would like it a little more looser I would get a large. I wore it with a fitted maternity dress

Does it’s job, but I did get a small hole when putting it on for the first time. Buuut it was small and I was still able to wear it and it’s comfortable not too tight. I did the recommended size up (normally a medium so I ordered a large) and size wise that was great.

works well

This does work well. It doesn't ride up you thighs. It does run a little small but overall it is about the right size. Once you have worn it once it will fit better where you belly will be comfortable.

Tight in the thighs - squat test fail :(

I really wanted to love these shorts as I’ll be in my third trimester all summer and wanted something comfy to wear with crop tops and tshirts that would cover my belly and thighs. Based on other reviews I sized up (pre-pregnancy size small and bought a medium). I definitely could have gone L or XL for comfort. (For reference, I’m 135 and 5’5’’ normally, about 150 now in my 6th month). Sadly, these have a seam at the leg holes that is really tight on the thighs so it creates a little bulge that I hate. They do cover the belly, but they don’t go right up to your bra line unless you maybe get a much bigger pair or pull them up into your crotch? They’re also suuuuuuper see through when you bend over so no chance of wearing them as shorts throughout the summer as I had hoped. For $20 they’re a reasonably priced, comfy around-the-house item but I won’t be wearing these out and about.

Not super shaping but SO comfy!

I ordered a size up due to recommendations (normally L bought an XL). I did find the size a bit tight as I put them on but they loosened up as I wore them. They are so comfy, I don’t feel like I’m wearing anything at all. They go nice and high up to my bra line, and the material on the stomach is super stretchy for my growing belly. I agree that it helps more with shaping in the thighs and not so much for love handles or the stomach, but it will be perfect to wear under a flowy dress and will definitely help with the chafing I’ve been experiencing! Love it.

I bought several different maternity shorts to try, and loved this one best! Great quality and wear, doesn’t loose shape or form after wearing or washing. Reordered three times now. Would highly recommend!
