Kids haven't tired of it
We really enjoy watching the magnets attract or repel. Wish some of the magnets were a bit stronger, but that's about it.

Excellent product with a good variety of activities to do
I looked at hundreds of magnets and magnet kits on Amazon before I finally settled on this one. So many had bad reviews even when they showed as 4-5 stars. I don't know why this one was buried so far away in the search pages. As a retired teacher, I trust the Learning Resources brand. Seems to be very well made and my grandchildren and some other children I gifted it to really like it. The larger wand in particular is a nice strong magnet without being strong enough to cause injury. They are available as stand alone items by several vendors, with or without the round bingo or game discs. As an add-on, I put about a tablespoon of iron filings into a clear plastic jar (an empty spice jar), and sealed it. the kids really enjoy how the filings stand up like trees near the magnet. (won't work with a glass jar).

Great set, but just know...
We love this magnet set. Some of the reviews mentioned one of the magnets breaking when dropped, but it seems like Learning Resources listened and corrected that issue because our set came with a plastic version of that magnet so that won't happen. The only reason that I'm not giving it five stars is because Amazon simply slapped a shipping label on the box and shipped it instead of taking the time to put it in an Amazon box. This resulted in our box arriving damaged. I contacted them and they allowed me to exchange it, but the second one was still shipped the same way. Thankfully the second one arrived without any damage, but it's still irritating because I always save the boxes our Learning Resources products come in to store them in our homeschool cabinet. I realize that Amazon does ship products in original packaging/boxes sometimes, but usually the listing says that it will be shipped this way and this one did not. All of the other Learning Resources products I've recieved from Amazon or directly from Learning Resources have always been packaged inside of another box for shipping.

Perfect set for young children!
Love this set and compliments any child’s curiosity and exploration. Have enjoyed using it with my toddlers, but be sure to watch them carefully with the small pieces! A gift , sure to delight all ages and those with limited functionality. Highly recommend.

My 4 year old is obsessed with these magnets. This was a giant success. He love experimenting to see what around the house they will stick to. They seem sturdy and I have not had issues with them breaking. Great deal for the price!

Great quality
This was and continues to be a real hit for our 4 year old. She is amazed with these magnets and watching how they react with each other. Everything in here is great quality and easy for her to do on her own. We love the Learning Resources kits and will probably never stop purchasing them as long as she’s of age.. They have all sorts of different activities/kits for different ages! We have gotten others and they’ve been just as wonderful! Extremely helpful for homeschooling!

Great set, lots of fun
We purchased this set of our 5 year old who asked for a magnet set as his reward for an excellent Reception year report. It came the next day. It was presented in an attractive box and was very well packaged. There are a good range of magnets and accessories to experiment with and our boys (4 & 5) have spend lota of time dropping the counters on the floor and "sucking" them up with the wand magnet. It has kept them busy and entertained. It would be nice to include a little booklet about magnets and how they work but we found one at a garage sale for free the day after we received the set.
