Works as advertised
Had it assembled in about 15 minutes. It is sturdy and easy to use. Have used it a few times and it did not leak a drop. I would suggest disconnecting the short supply hose from the swivel fitting before rolling/unrolling long lengths of hose. That way the o-rings will not get worn out as fast, though they can be replaced if needed. I expect this cart to last many years - much better constructed than the cheap one I bought previously.

It was easy to assemble
As compared to other hose carts ( in the review section), it was easy to assemble. 30 minutes tops. I was missing one nut for a wheel. Not the end of the world. I went to a hardware store & got one, then zip/zap!

What I have been needing to tame my garden hoses
Great hose reel, now I can keep my water hoses neatly wound up and keep them mobile to use in the front yard to water the flower beds, and in the back yard to wash my truck. All of this without dragging the hose and leaving a trip hazard, because, I always seem to forget to find a nice place to store the hose.

better than the plastic hardware store models...
I was getting tired of fighting with the two plastic hose reels I've used for years. These hose reels are a step up in ease of operation. Good sized crank handle, and the reel is a decent size. After reading some reviews I can address a few problems other have had. First, the crank handle screws onto the reel shaft. This means when you first install the hose be sure to wind the hose in the direction that TIGHTENS the crank!!! If the handle is unscrewing when you wind in the hose you have it wound backwards!!!! Too oblivious, but some folks missed it. Second... for those who managed to mangle the hose going to the faucet, read the directions. The swivel will be stiff until the O'rings are broken in. Add a few drops of oil if needed, or support the connecting hose when reeling. Assembly was easy as pie. I was able to figure it out from the photos. Unit was well packed, and no items were missing. The manual warns about the poor paint job from the factory. To be safe, I ordered a few cans of tan Rustoleum spray from Amazon and I plan to give the frame a few additional coats of paint, with extra attention paid to lower axle support welds. It is rather sad that an owner has to do this on new units, but at least the factory advises the owners in advance to clear spray the product. I chose to overspray with paint. The cart is fairly stable and I like the side reel feature when keeps the buggy steady when reeling in or pulling out hose. The frame could be a bit sturdier. I do not consider this to be commercial grade, but it is a decent home owner level product. I'd strongly suggest keeping it garaged when possible, especially over winter months. The hose swivel allows for the hoses to be easily disconnected to ensure the metal parts are fully drained for storage during freezes. I've had a few plastic reels destroyed by freezes because removing the hoses was a very difficult task. I can't comment on the tire problems other have faced, but hopefully replacement inner tubes are cheap if needed.... I bought two of these, one for the front yard and one for the back yard. They aren't exactly lawn art, being more functional than artistic... they are fairly large units. I have about 150 feet of 5/8" hose on each cart. I'd suggest winding a new hose on a hot day to ensure the hose is pliable, my hoses were a bit stiff when purchased.

seems great so far
It is amazing how few people must read instructions before going to work on things. First the MAXIMUM pressure for the tires is marked as 30 psi and the instructions say the MAXIMUM should be 15 psi, and to NOT, repeat NOT use and air compressor on them. Second the leaking problem could be easily fixed. The only problem I have is that the hose is designed to go OVER the outside of the reel to start with. It should be designed for the hose to be fastened inside the reel. I have fixed that by adding two 1/4 connectors to loop between the spokes.

A very solid hose cart
I bought this cart to replace yet another plastic cart that managed to last two or three years. This time, I decided to go a step up, and get what my wife calls "the last hose cart we'll ever buy." (Time will tell!) It arrived well packed, with all the pieces, including screws. I'm reasonably good at putting things together -- I never met a Christmas toy that I couldn't assemble before morning -- and this cart went together in about 30 min. or so. The construction of the parts is really good, with a nice, solid feel, and a heavy enamel paint job. The hose connections are solid brass, and the crank system has good bearings. It's heavyweight, but not ridiculously so. If treated well, this thing should last for years. Everything goes together with two metric wrenches or sockets, plus a crescent wrench; if you can assemble a kid's bike, this is a piece of cake. Then, we had a little wrinkle ... One of the tires arrived flat as a pancake, and wouldn't inflate, no matter how many times I tried -- even at the gas station. The slip in the box said to call Liberty's 800 number between 9:00AM - 4:30PM Eastern Time for help. It was now 5:45 (EDT) on a Friday, but I decided to try anyway. I was pleasantly surprised when a polite man answered the phone, took my address, and promised that a replacement wheel would ship on Monday. On Thursday, I called again, this time at 8:35AM, and a woman answered the phone, found my tracking number, and told me the wheel was out for delivery that day. I put the fourth (fifth?) wheel on, and it works great! I'm not overjoyed about the bad wheel, but the mark of a good company is how well they fix mistakes, because they're bound to happen. Liberty gave me no hassle, they just sent a new wheel. I rate this at 4.5 stars, although the review system only allows whole stars. In use, the cart moves well, and turns nicely by tipping back on the handle to lift the front wheels off the ground. Turning front wheels might make this easier, buy I like the stability of the fixed wheels. It rolls over uneven ground without a hitch, and the nice, beefy handle will reel in a couple of hundred feet of water-filled hose without binding. The only complaint that I have is that the hose attaches straight out from the side, which leaves a service loop of hose around the outside of the rim of the reel; I wish it had a right-angle mount. (They're probably available at a hardware store. One note: The cart is rated for 300 feet of hose. That might be true if one uses the skinny green 'homeowner' style vinyl hose. I put 150 feet of reinforced rubber contractor-grade hose on the cart (might as well do the whole job right), and it looks like there might be enough reel left for another 50-75 feet of the same hose. YMMV.

Decent and easy to put together
If your looking for a basic hose real that's easy to put together this one works. My only issue is the handle is very flimsy on the frame. I'm probably going to add additional bolts at a 90° from the ones in it to give it some more support. Overall not bad if not pricey for the quailty.

Missing parts in both carts I ordered
Both carts I ordered had missing parts. The Cust service rep on the phone, will not answer questions and simply way they will ship new parts by slow US post. She would not reply to questions but instead simply move on. She showed no empathy for this frustration. Remember parts were missing from BOTH cart reels I ordered, not just one. We had to prove to them that we both the carts, find the bill, screenshot, send it). I asked if they get a lot of fraudulent requests for missing parts, but she again offered no insight. I finally gave up. She clearly does not understand how frustrating this is. The paint on the carts is poor with runs in the paint. The workmanship is not the best. More like a cheap foreign product. I would return them to AMAZON except that we live in the country and it would take a couple of hours to box them up and get them to a return site. Oh, there are a few errors in the instruction booklet that I had to figure out for myself. It says it takes about 30 minutes to assemble. I disagree. Given the parts issue assembly to completion will take a couple of weeks. Overall I expected a lot more from an American company and an American-made product. Positive and interesting customer service would help but the person on the phone was less than inter All in all not impressed and do not recommend this product. I added a photo to show the item in pieces. I think I will add more pics each day until I receive the missing parts! Success, It only took 8 days after receiving the items to get the missing parts thanks to the intervention of a manager who decided that a courier service was in order. Otherwise, had I left it with the uninspired customer service rep, I would still be waiting. I feel like I should say thank you on one hand although both items should have been shipped with all the parts ! I really am not sure?

Where is the Quality Control?
As you can see by the picture the Tee Connector is defective in the casting. A clear hole in the connector causing water to leak. This should have been spotted during a Quality check at the Manufacturer to ensure no leaks. Will start a return of the item through Amazon, hoping to replace the defect part only. I can't comment on the performance as the reel hasn't been used yet. Assembly was fairly easy and quick. Other parts of the reel appear to be solid. Update: Just chatted online with Amazon and they were quick to understand the issue and provided the credit to my account purchase a new Tee connector for the hose reel. I will update on the reels performance once the new part arrives. Happy to say that Amazon has come through. Thanks.

Garbage on so many levels
This cart is as garbage as it comes. For the price, I was expecting it to be a lot sturdier than it is, but alas I was wrong. For a cart that is barely used, I've had to change two tubes in the wheels already and to boot, when I took the wheelbase apart I found the base to be so misshapen and was forced to cut through the base in order to remove it. Overall I would only recommend someone buy this if they're looking to waste money and accumulate junk.

You get what you pay for.
Very solid construction, works well. Should last a long time. A couple of extra washers to prevent leakage at hose joints would be nice, but those are not hard to buy. Took me a little longer than 30 minutes to assemble, but not much longer.

It Needs To Be Assembled By You
You have to assemble this: frame, axles, wheels, and both handles. All part were there, and instructions easy to read. The packaging needed to air dry a little. Just a tad smelly when first opened up. The cart rolls easily and the handle spins and rolls hoes up quite efficiently. The cart is painted / powder coated. Materials used, metal, is super duper thin but if you don't abuse it or run into anything with it, the cart should last a while. No leaks as yet. I am happy with this purchase.
