gorgeous salad bowl set well made quality

This salad bowl set is made of rubberwood. It is a gorgeous cherry wood color. The bowl itself has a gorgeous design. Hand wash only. It is so gorgeous and easy to wash, I didn't care about hand washing. To wash it took less than a minute. Comes with four bowls that are a great size for a salad or whatever. The fork and spoon are designed very fashionable. Beautifully matched set. Problem. I purchased to give as a gift. When it was delivered it was in a brand new shipping box. I opened it to find the bowls and utensils just thrown inside that box. Not in a box that went with the set. I set it back because I couldn't gift it. So I decided to buy over again for me........I absolutely love the look..........

Very nice but...

So this salad bowl set is very nice. The finish on the bowls is fantastic and looks great, and even after quite some use these bowls still perform their task and looks almost like the day I opened them. The one thing I did not like however, and it took away a star, is the fork and spoon they give you to serve the salad. They are not curved and they are ENTIRELY too slippery due to the finish on them. It's almost impossible to serve salad with these serving utensils. I've actually discarded them and use a pair of plastic serving salad utensils to serve my salad. Other than these completely useless utensils the set is fantastic and very useful. I definitely recommend

Big bowl !

Nice large bowl. I’m using it for a salad bowl for small gatherings. These bowls this size can get expensive so this was a winner. Great value for the money

Eat More Salad...Enjoy

I am a fairly new customer to on-line ordering..I am always cautious not having the ability to evaluate or see the product before buying. I was searching for a nice wooden salad bowl set, not many retails stores seem to have on the shelf...so I ordered this set, and not only is the service from Amazon "amazing" but when I rec'd the set, I was suprisingly very pleased. The set looks like an expensive set for the fair and competitive price. I seen no flaws or defects. I had read Salads were better tasting in wood bowls w/some light oil and not only better, but it looks like the Salad has a special place for the table and more inviting...I will order extra serving bowls for guests.

Serviceable but Slightly Defective

This salad set will be used, but the coloring of the salad bowl bothers me. It is sort of smeared and distracts my eye every time I see it. I guess I could return it, but it seems too much bother. I would not buy it again.

Main bowl is smaller than I thought

I had lost my previous wooden salad bowl. This set is nice looking. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was the size. The main salad bowl is quite small. Would probably be enough for 4 people.

Recipients were really happy with it as a gift.

Gave this bowl as part of a house warming gift. They said it was really nice. They sent me a picture and it looked better ( a variety of different textures and hues of wood.) Made for an interesting serving piece. I will try to include the picture that was sent. I thought it was well priced given some of the other wooden bowl I've see out there, pre-pandemic.
