It worked, but it was HARD to do.
Cheap device, and it didn't break. But man, it was a whole afternoon of hard labor. The magnet was meaningless - the forces involved are way too strong for the magnet to help with anything meaningful. The device did not fit where it said we should use it, but we did manage to find a pulley we could get it around to get the old belt off, and another pulley we could get it around to get the new one one. Fair warning: it took two or three passes to get the new belt all the way seated in the grooves. Now, the fact that it was hours of back-breaking work was not the fault of this little device. I love my Mazda5, but it is foolishness for any manufacturer to fit a stretch belt instead of JUST PUTTING A STINKIN' TENSIONER PULLEY ON IT! But as long as you're stuck with changing a stretch belt, and you're willing to spend your time and knuckle skin to save the cost of hiring a mechanic, there's a good chance this thing will help you out.

Easy to use.
Honda CR-V's do not have much clearance to remove and replace the serpentine belt but with this tool set, it makes the job so much easier.

Works as advertised. Having the magnet makes it work so much better.
Great little tool that's a must for replacing 'Stretch Belts'. Easy off and on action. Magnet holds the tool in place on the pully which keeps it from falling off into lost territory or onto your head.

Excellent time saver
What a great tool. I never knew that stretch belts existed until I finally had to work on one!

Does not fit a F150
The balancer on my 2020 F150 sits too close to the timing cover. The tool will not clear the cover. I had to use the popular zip tie method.

Worked like champ
Used this tool to install an alternator belt on a 1976 Coachmen RV w/ a 460 Ford engine on an E350 chassis. Took 10 minutes to install and adjust tension. Harmonic balancer bolt used for manual turning of the engine with a socket had a 15/16 head. I did this job alone, 72 years young, over the hill but picking up speed. Nice invention.

Did not fit 2008 BMW X5 E70 3.0 V6
Mounted on camshaft but didn’t reach belt. Won’t fit to mount on AC compressor wheel where it might reach the stretch belt. Ordered 2 other tools to try.

Looks good.
I haven't had a chance to use it, but it looks like it should be good.

Works on a Mazda MX5 mk3
Having searched the web for a tool to install a serpentine drive belt, I settled on this tool after reading lots of reviews. My car is a 2006 1.8 with no air conditioning (this may help with access). Removed battery, tray and earth strap. I have fitted a new tensioner as well. I made sure the groove on the fitting tool had no burrs to allow it to fit on the main crank pulley as well as possible. The magnet worked well though came loose so I had to super glue it back in place before using. I positioned the fitting tool at the bottom of the pulley (it just misses the steering rack hydraulic connections, luckily). Placed the belt on all the pulleys (apart from crank) and onto the tool as required. By pulling on the belt to give it tension and therefore making the tool grip the pulley, I then turned the engine with a rachet. Unless you remove the spark plugs, you'll fight against compression. I left the plugs in place. Its important to make sure the section of belt that needs to be fitted onto the pulley, is twisted in the right orientation (at this point it's against the side of the pulley). After a failed first attempt, I used silicon spray on a tissue to provide some lubrication on the side of the pulley. As you pull on the rachet, push the belt sideways on the pulley that is smooth with no retaining edges - you don't want it slipping off at the last minute. Also help the belt slide against the side of the pulley by giving it a little twist - you will see it wanting to move onto the pulley. It will then spring in place (this is where the lubrication helped on the second attempt). At least two full revolutions of the engine with the rachet will ensure the belt is tracking round all the pulleys correctly before replacing the battery and starting the engine. Had all done in half an hour.

Work's on the GM LS engines with Stretch Belts.
I work with GM and for whatever reason they went to stretch belts on their trucks for the AC belt. Completely s*%@y design in my own opinion because it makes my job that much harder. Taking the belt off is not the issue because i usually just stick a pry bar between the pulley and the belt and pry it off. If i am not reusing it then i cut it. Installing the belt is a different story because i have used other tools and they just do not work so i really kept expectations low on thinking this would work. The picture that is an example on Amazon is a GM pulley so that means it must work, right?. The tool arrived quickly and using the tool it has a remover and installer in one. Remover is only for if your going to be reusing the belt otherwise just cut it. The installer i used on a 2018 Silverado and managed to work out okay with some minor swearing. The tool slips on the back of the pulley and belt goes in front of it. The magnet does help the tool stick to the pulley but isn't strong enough to firmly support it. Once the tool is behind the crank pulley, rotate the crankshaft until the belt slips onto the pulley. With some minor adjustment, the tool worked surprisingly well and would give it 4 stars because it made the job a little easier than using a pry bar to install it which can be done but is difficult. Otherwise i have used this on a few other engines with stretch belts and all seem to do the job it needs to do. I guess you can say the tool helps with easy installation, i just don't know why you even need a tool like this. A tensioner was just fine but nope i guess not. Yes i am shaking my head because i just think it over complicates the design of a belt. In summary, okay tool and would recommend.

Solid
Very solid. Works great

Does the job
This tool would perhaps work perfectly on cars with more space in the engine bay. In my case however the space to work with is very tight, and this full size tool was much too wide to work. I had to saw off half the tool (the ‘remove’ part, you may not need this side of the tools anyway, as you can cut the belt off if throwing the belt away). This was very difficult to saw off, which would actually give the product bonus points for being constructed of quality materials. But after cutting it in half, the tool worked just fine

may not fit past the frame when turning pulley on the bulky side
may not fit past the frame all the time wish it was just install tool cut old one out or 2 seperate pieces. may want 2 i put new stretch belt on but was off by bit so first pass got it 90% on then second pass moved it 2 groves over again but damage had been done to belt still way better then old belt but the big lip on pulley cut threw the belt like butter a secont tool would have moved it over that last little bit. still when this can get by the frame if it even has to then this works easily
