For 7/12-12-12?

I needed this to complete my installation of my Duravent stove and chimney system I bought the kit at tractor supply but it only comes with a 3/12 to 6/12 chimney flashing boot, but for the price of the kit it was cheaper to buy the whole kit throw the boot out and purchase this because my roof is a 9/12 pitch and I needed the steeper flashing kit. I will probably sell off the shallow pitch kit or just give it away to someone who needs it.

This vent flashing is for steep 7/12 to 12/12 pitched roofs. This was installed in my 9/12 pitched cathedral ceiling new construction roof and it paired flawlessly with 6 inch Dura-Vent chimney pipe measuring 10 inches in overall outside diameter. FYI: The Dura-Vent basic through the roof installation kit/package comes with a standard flashing vent for lower pitched roofs. If you have a higher pitch roof of 7 to 12/12, buy the basic installation package and, in addition, also order this vent flashing. Just box the ceiling joists to accept the included metal box; anchor the box per the directions; install the insulation shield;discard the low pitch flashing vent and install this one instead and up you go...

Works but finish isn’t durable!

Worked for my 8-1/2 (12) pitch roof but finish not very durable. Creosote affects it and it rusts. You would think a chimney product finish would be designed to be impervious to creosote. When the weather is really cold moisture from snow drops from cap on to flashing and it eats the finish causing rust.

It's not at all what is described, it's HUGE not 6inch more like for a 11 inch to 12 inch pipe ,it's not adjustable! Will be returning this item, totally misleading! Huge waste of time,effort and money!

My roof is 9/12 so the fitting that came with the kit didn't have the correct angle. This piece worked well with no issues.
