This Queen catcher is well made and opens & closes easily.

Works well, but close it slowly and carefully.

Functions well and works as described. The edges are somewhat sharp and require care when capturing bees, else one may cut and injure or even kill a queen when closing the catcher. I suggest that one practice on some workers or drones first before going after the big girl.

Works well, I received the product as pictured.

Defective/Returns Impractical

The space where the clip comes together is too wide and the queen bee can escape. I don’t think this is a Mann Lake product. Plus returns are pain. On a $10 item you have to print out a label and then still pay for the return postage. Can’t drop off at an Amazon return site. I ended up chalking it up as a bad purchase and use it as a food bag clamp.
