Oh my goodness... such a sweet face. I had been watching this for almost a year (hoping for a possible good deal) when the price came down about $10. That was all I needed. I ordered it immediately and I am thrilled with my purchase. Since I planned on using it as a companion to my large Santa figure I decided to dress him up a bit. I made a collar out of red nylon webbing with jingle bells all around and purchased a holly ring (like you would use around the base of a pillar candle) to place at a jaunty angle around one antler. He’s making his debut this Christmas and he looks adorable. He’s exactly what I hoped he would be. He’s beautifully made and seems to be quite sturdy. I wouldn’t get him for a child who might want to “ride” on him but, as a decorative item, he should remain durable for years to come. The seams are nicely finished (no gaps or unevenness anywhere) and his legs keep him perfectly upright. I know he’s going to become one of my favorite Christmas pieces to bring out every year.

He's lovely but needs a manufacturing change.

He's a beautiful big boy, full of character, BUT his right hind leg is a fat inch and a half shorter than the others. this of course makes him difficult to stand. His legs seem to have wire in them so we could almost tripod him. I've seen this complaint in other reviews and just ignored it as an anomaly, but it needs to be addressed. Also, he comes in a roomy big box, but is found pretzeled up in about a third of it in a plastic bag, with no packaging material around him. May I suggest at least a good band of bubble wrap around his neck and antlers for support. I know that my granddaughter will love him on Christmas morning, if we can teach her how to get him to stand .......

Ripped within first week

My daughter 7 yr old so excited for this , she absolutely loved it , but it did come apart in the neck stitch line. So for that it gets a 2 star , or I would have given a 5
