Unexpected hit!

I bought these for my 19 month old grandson to put in his Easter basket because I loved them. He does not particularly care for bugs, I didn’t buy them expecting he would actually like them all that much, I just thought they were cool. To my surprise, he really likes them. He likes to sort them. He has these little clear plastic jars from Lovevery that we sort them into and “observe” them. Even my nieces (ages 3 and 8) really enjoyed them.

Great hide and seek activity for toddler!

I purchased these bugs along with the "Melissa & Doug Giddy Buggy Bug House" for my 15 month old grandson, who was getting bored with his toys and needed something to encourage more interactive play. His Mom, a first grade teacher, thought it might be a fun activity to hide the bugs outside and let him search for them. The first few times they took him out he wasn't sure what to do, but they encouraged him by pointing and saying, "I think I see something in the grass!" That made him really curious, and the fact that these little bugs are brightly colored, sturdy, molded plastic that he can hold comfortably in his little hands makes it an even greater reward. He is so excited to find each one and put them in his little buggy house. And, it is helping him learn his colors, sounding out the first syllable of each. I have purchased a lot of toys for this little guy, and these little critters along with the buggy house are an activity he will actually spend half an hour on outside. He also has a water table that he puts them in to give them a bug bath. Hey, even bugs need to get clean, right? ????

Grandson loves them.

I bought these to freeze in a block of ice for our two year old grandson. We gave him a rubber mallet and watched him hammer the ice and get the bugs out. Great fun on a hot day. He loves playing with these and knows the name of each bug. He enjoys them in the bathtub also.

These were bought for my granddaughters 4th birthday. Surprisingly she is into bugs and she loves playing with these little guys. The plastic is very durable and nothing rubs off on fingers...a good buy.

Great little bugs

I bought these to use as an alternative to a cake topper for a bug themed party and they worked out wonderfully. I wanted something I could use for the party but also have my kids play with them afterwards and this fit the bill.

They are ok for what kids need them for. Durable but wouldn’t trust a teething baby near them which makes it difficult for our toddler to play with them with the baby around. But isn’t that like with anything really.

I got these cute little bugs for some buggy Valentine cards for my daughter's daycare group. I need something safe for young children that wouldn't fall apart. These bugs are brightly coloured, cute and safe. They are big enough that they can't be a choke hazard and they are flexible so the kegs don't break off. Very happy with this order!
