Worth the money if you're serious

Great set, use the plating spoons all the time. The black finish does come off if you scrub too hard so best to clean with a soft scrubby.

Amazing Kit that every Chef should own!

I am a Chef in NYC, in my Culinary school we used Mercer Knives which are amazing. I started working at a 4 star restaurant and decided to start perfecting my plating skills and wanted to buy my own kit, so I decided to stick with Mercer as I know that their products are pure quality. When this came in the mail it was as if I was a child at christmas, I opened it and started playing with it all day, and this indeed has helped me more than what I thought. The spoons are amazing and tweezers are on point for those micro Green plating. My only problem which isn't major, is I noticed a difference in quality, nothing to major but when you're a chef, you can tell whats what. My kit from culinary school was made in Germany and these are made in Taiwan. Regardless, Still a great and wonderful product and I will always stick with Mercer.

Missing pieces

I have used these utensils before and I like them. They are sturdy and the color doesn't chip. My only complaint was that I purchased the 7 piece kit and only received 6. I am missing the perforated spoon.
