Awesome upgrade to the average trash bag

This addition of the scent is ingenious. I noticed that before the squirrels, racoons, etc., would gnaw through the trash bag and I'd come out to see garbage strewn all over the backyard. When I switched to this type of bag, I was able to notice immediately the difference. They rodents/pests are avoiding my garbage like the plague and I couldn't be happier. I'm glad I found this when I did.

Good deal on trash bags.

These are larger than I was expecting (nice surprise!!), and are decently thick/durable. They do have a nice light mint smell ---- not sure if this will be enough to deter our raccoons, but, at the very least, it makes the bags a little more pleasurable to use. I removed a star because this type of bag usually comes with a type of zip tie to close each bag, but I dug through the box, and cannot find anything at all to close the bags. Other than the closure issue, these are very nice trash bags!!!

Raccoons love them to season their food!

Had the bags tied inside a can with a lid. They pulled the can over, removed the lid, tore several gaping holes in the bag and proceeded to throw the garbage all over the yard. Actually tried double bagging and the same thing happened. As far as strength; very sturdy and thicker than our usual bags and don't rip easily when critters aren't tearing at them. The scent is also very strong, but not a deterrent to animals. I would not use them inside the house because of the smell.

Great bags

Great bags. I use them in my 39 gallon can. Fit great, hold a lot and are sturdy. I don't worry about them tearing when removing them from the can. Mint scent is very strong and bothered my asthma at first. I guess I've grown used to the scent since it no longer bothers me

GREAT!!

Heard about these on TV and decided to order and try them out....they REALLY do work!....The mint smell in these X-HEAVY (they are black and not white in color)...is VERY strong....so if you are looking for an indoor trash can liner for your kitchen...this x-heavy trash bag may be too strong of a smell...and would recommend you order the regular strength mint X white liner...these x-heavy liners are better for lining the garbage can in the garage...which is what I do and then just grab the bag out on trash day, tie the bag closed and put out for trash pick up...groundhogs, raccoons, birds, etc. haven't come near the bag since I have been using them...would recommend.

Not strong enough

The bags are not very strong. They tear too easily. If I have anything heavy for the trash, I have to double bag them

Awesome product

Have a serious squirrel population in our neighborhood and apparently a giant racoon in back yard who gets into ALL trash. He can even open the large hinged lids and the snapped down can tops. I have not used the bags yet, but the mint smell is strong enough through the box that i believe it will deter all these critters from getting in the trash. If bags do not work (I did order the small white kitchen bags too), i will re-post message. So, if you see nothing further from me, you will know these bags worked!
