Seriously the best tape for the money.

Muc-Off is superior to any rim tape for the money. It was much easier installing very difficult tannus inserts into a 30mm id rim with Super Trail Magic Mary tires and Maxxis Exo+ tires. The tape is thin and holds up well to a plastic tire lever. Pro tip- Take the wheel off the bike and take off the tire and rim tape. Spray the wheel with alcohol and take off any adhesive from old tape. Put your wheel back on to an upside down bike. Install the tape by pulling at it as hard as you can with the wheel on the flipped bike for leverage. This method simulates wrapping a wheel in a truing stand. Wrap twice around the rim going over the valve hole with three layers of tape (start and finish over the valve hole). Then use a tire lever to press in the tape to the bead of the rim. Check James the Bike Guy’s video on installing rim tape. This method is a game changer and muc off works great for it.

Taped my front wheel with muc off

I taped my front wheel with muc off. It was easy to install and stretchy enought to have a good adhesion. Only been two weeks that I been riding my bike and only time will tell how long will hold up.

The wheel leaked air

I've converted four bikes to tubeless tires. I used Stan's rim tape for each of them and didn't have any issues. I'm building a replacement wheel for my main mountain bike. It has a 30mm inner diameter rim so I needed a wider tape and ended up buying Muc-Off's 35mm tape. (Muc-Off recommends that you get a tape 5mm wider than the internal rim width). It didn't go well. I was stretching it as hard as I could to get the tape to go into the tire's center groove. It just didn't go on as smoothly as the Stans. The tape isn't as elastic. Still, I tried to press it in thinking that once the tire was on and it was pressurized it would flatten out. Nope. The tire would not hold air for more than a few hours. I got out a soapy brush and looked for the leak. It was all coming through the spoke holes, a sure sign that the rim tape wasn't working. I took the tire apart to redo the tape. The adhesive on this Muc-Off tape is really hard to get off and left a residue on the rim. Normally acetone works but it didn't seem to do much to whatever this is. After a lot of trying I just left it on. I wanted to go riding and didn't have time to keep trying to clean it. I didn't have any official bike rim tape left and didn't want to use Muc-Off again so I ended up taping it with some 1" Gorilla duct tape. That worked perfectly. It's not the recommended width but it covered the rim holes and sealed. It's been a week and I haven't lost any air. I'm really disappointed with Muc-Off. I've used other products of theirs and haven't had any issues. I don't recommend their rim tape though.

Great tape. Stickiest of the ickiest.

Tape adheres very well and only need really one pass to make it seal your rim. Plus they come in a lot of widths

Seals good

It was fairly easy to install but does not stretch much. My front wheel went flat by the morning but found that it was due to the new valves that didn’t work with my wheels. Also removing the tape leaves tape glue all over the rim so be ready to clean your wheels after removing it. After buying another set of valves and putting new tape. It holds air very good.

Seals better than Gorilla or Duct tape and is easier to remove if you need to.

You have to be sure that your hands are not greasy or dirty when applying tape.Any residue contacting the sticky side of tape can cause it not to stick.Not as bulky or heavy as a standard hardware store tape.I have it on both of my bikes.

Blasenfrei unmöglich!

Vorab muss ich dazu sagen, dass dies mein erstes Felgenband ist. Ab Werk hatten meine Felgen bereits eine Abdichtung die nach 3 Jahren nun unterwandert wurde. Auf anderen Bikes fahre ich mit Schlauch. Generell habe ich viel Erfahrung im Umgang mit Folien (Auto-, Motorrad und Möbelfolierung). Aber diese Folie ist dermaßen schlecht zu verarbeiten. Ein blasenfreie Folierung ist schier unmöglich ! Mit viel Zug funktioniert das ganz etwas besser. Auch die Klebekraft lässt sehr zu Wünschen übrig. Für den Preis nicht empfehlenswert! Gruß Felix

La cinta se ve de muy buena calidad, no la utilice por que la pedí en un ancho que no me servía la pedí más grande de lo que la necesitaba

Buon nastro sigillante, ma le 4 toppe sono inservibili.

Buon nastro per il rapporto qualità prezzo. Molto adesivo e resistente. Le 4 toppe aggiuntive, di contro, non hanno molta adesività. Tutto sommato è da consigliare l'acquisto.

Lässt sich sehr gut anbringen, hält dicht. Und lässt sich auch sehr einfach ersetzen.
