Do not fit Squier 5 way switch.

Got the metric thinking indonesia uses the metric system right? Well, they don't fit. Well one didn't. Maybe I will try a different one. I paid for 5 though, they should all work. I didn't pay for contingencies. Just another reason why the standard system is superior. Although, they have it wrong on the site. The unit of measure for knobs on levers and switches is the Gnuick. It is about 1/4 of an inch. I was looking for a half Gnuick knob and the search results were revolting. Maybe we should just go to the metric system in America. Gnuick it.

Do not fit (too small) any of my strats or Teles without cutting

Did not fit the first guitar I wanted to use it on so tried on my other (american, mexican & asian made) stratacasters and telecasters. Did not fit any of them! Too small. I was able to take an exacto knife and cut away enough to get it to fit. But you should not have to. I have bought ones from elsewhere that fit perfectly. As you see from the other reviews here it is not an isolated issue. I do not recommend forcing it on the switch as some have done! You can ruin the switch which costs more than these knobs and will take much longer to replace. A small regular screwdriver would probably be sufficient to remove enough plastic to get it to fit.

The slot size is a bit off but the plastic is soft enough for the blade of the switch to "cut" a bit.

The slot size is a bit off but the plastic is soft enough for the blade of the switch to "cut" a bit. Ok for the price. The problem is that many switch vary a bit in size so there is always a little fitting to make things right. Hope this Helps.

Worked perfect on my Squier telecaster.

Perfect fit for my Squier telecaster. I've never liked the big ugly Telecaster switch tip. This is the right size for the smallest import switch lever. Seems like there are 3 or 4 different sizes out there.
