I bought this nutcracker to open soda bottles, a task for which it works superbly as the cutout for a walnut fits a Diet Pepsi cap perfectly. My grip strength just ain't what it used to be! I haven't tried it as a nutcracker yet but it looks just like the nutcrackers that I used as a child and they all worked well for cracking walnuts and pecans. An interesting and somewhat related piece of trivia: There is a "Tunlaw Street" in Washington, DC.

It works

Could care less about Nut & Seafood Claw cracking. I needed this device to open balky soda bottles principally Schweppes Tonic water bottles. This little bugger works perfectly...fits around the bottle top snugly...one twist action & holds the cap just right before retrieving to place in the garbage. Thanks so much for having in your stable of products. Price was right too.....

Not super high quality

Works great!

Works on crab, lobster, and nuts. Fourteen more words are required, which I find a silly rule, but I'll put down my crab, lobster and nuts to give the folks the right number of words!

The rivet that holds the two parts together, didn't, and fell out; it looked as if it had never been crimped properly, because one part just fit inside the other part.

Cheap and Flimsy

This cracker is small, cheap and flimsy. I also purchased the Norpro cracker for $1 more and thought it was a better buy.

It takes a while to crack walnuts as they slip because this cracker a bit small and thin for them! but great for smaller nut
