Overpriced!

I was in the middle of a remodel project and needed new screws for my brass hinges. I did and online search, and these came up. I thought they were expensive, but I was pressed for time so I ordered them. They were not a Prime product so delivery was several days out. Based on experience at the local big box store I knew a bag of just a few would cost about a dollar, so I rationalized that the 18 in this bag would be close. Later, over in the hinge section, guess what I found? A whole kit of 18 screws, PLUS 3 long screws for the latch was ONE QUARTER the price of these 18 screws. So, when this order finally arrived I set up a return. They’re charging me $3.99 to return these.

A quality door screw

After hurricane Sandy we had our house gutted and rebuilt. I noticed this winter that a few of the doors hinges have come loose. I had to replace a lot of the door screws the contractors used to longer ones. These worked perfectly and were affordable as well.
