Works well, provides a 'deep' lightbulb enclosure to prevent peripheral light spillage

The only quibble I could give is that it's a little tricky to aim these up/down and sideways just where you want. They lock in place pretty well, but the the adjustment knob when loosened only allows the individual light fixtures to be adjusted along a single plane/axis, depending on how they're aimed --- i.e., left-right only or up-down only or whatever. In order to aim these where you want them, the fixture has to be removed from the wall and the nuts loosened that hold the individual cylinders to the base. I.e., you don't want to attach the unit to the base and wire it up and THEN try to adjust the direction of the individual lights. But this is hopefully just a one-time thing, so not a big deal. Also, since the diameters of the two metal cylinders and placement are such that you can't adjust them too close to parallel if you want that --- they would just run in to each other. I don't think that's likely a problem however, as the whole point I think of having a 2-light fixture is to aim them in different directions. All that said, the installation was simple, the pieces provided seem good and complete even to machine screws to fit into the electrical box, everything as expected. Okay, if really looking to quibble, I would have put 2 thin washers for the screws the mount the backing plate, but I didn't bother to even look for any as it feels secure enough without them. Now I'll buy a second one of these for another part of the house.

Decent light on its own, but a great light considering the price

The light is made of fairly thin metal, but unless you live in an area that gets a lot of hail, i can't imagine it being serious issue. This light is pretty easy to install and looks great. Simple clean design will blend well with most exteriors. I recommend this as a good option for clean and simple light.

Flimsy.

Up front: I bought this as a used/damaged Amazon warehouse items and I take that into account with the somewhat low price. The main issue with this fixture is that the base is made of the same incredibly flimsy and thin aluminum as the parts (cylinder) that surround the light. This makes it insanely easy for it to be out of round and thus nearly impossible to seal correctly to the round part that attaches to the wall/electrical box. Be ready to rely almost entirely on caulking to achieve any water intrusion resistance. I will worry about the fixture than I installed and that is not much protected by an eave., The whole thing is very thin aluminum and thus easily dented and made out of round. I give this two stars only because I paid so little. But, at the usual price I 100% do not recommend this for exposed exterior lighting or if appearance (free of dents etc.) is an issue.

Look nice, good (not great) quality

Well made with excellent adjustment thumb screws. Impressive exterior finish. The bulb housing are made of fairly thin gauge metal. Be careful when adjusting.

Modern Matte Black Cylinders Look Great!

Don't be afraid to use these indoors, too. they look sleek, minimal, and modern against white walls. I love them and am so happy I was able to think outside the box and use these inside. Highly recommend.

cheaply made and returned

1st one was broken in the box. 2nd one only 1 side worked, Very cheaply made. Just adjusting the angle you can ben the cylinder. Very disappointed. Ended up keeping my cheaper old lights that were much sturdier.
