A tad snug

Very nice overall. However, these surly ran a tad small. I usually wear a small / 30 and I chose a 31 in these. They fit!

Would like to have a drawstring.

The Parke and Ronen swim shirts are definitely stylish. The Star fish are not just printed on the fabric, it is embroidered. The size 34 fits like you would expect. However, they do not have a drawstring to tighten them up to keep them from being pulled down by the ocean waves or current. The good thing is that each side has two buttons that will allow you to adjust the waist. They are about 15 inches long from waist to bottom. You are able to put both on the smaller setting or just one. The side pockets are quite small so I would not swim with anything in the pockets. The back pocket has a button, but there is no flap to help secure your items. Good for styling when you do not have to keep up with anything in your pocket while swimming. Made in China, so at the current price starting at over forty-five bucks, they are quite expensive.

Ran Small

Very attractive and comfortable swim trunks. They dry quickly and allow for good movement in the water. I thought they ran a little small; order a size up from your usual.

Nice but small

These are a nice design, look and feel but they came up way too short for me. I'm 6'3 and they are just too short for me to wear.

A bit uncomfortable

The style of the shorts are nice and the length felt right. The material is weird though it has a scratchy feel. The inside is not lined so you can feel the stitching from the stars.

Good Looking But Runs Small

If I was going for looks and quality alone, the parke & ronen Men's Catalonia 6 Inch Embroidered Seersucker would be 5 stars. The stitching is tight and fabric sturdy. It is comfortable enough, though not what I'd call soft. That's to be expected with 100% poly, ...or is it 65% polyester 35% cotton? No matter, it is comfortable enough and dries quickly. I like that it has a lining, something some manufacturers sometimes leave out of their swim trunks for whatever reason. It also has side pockets and one in the rear, making them perfectly usable shorts, if a bit limited due to the depth of the pockets. Sadly, the sizing is way off. I'm 6', 195lbs and 34 usually fits me just fine and is sometimes a little loose. These are way to tight, gripping close to my body and limiting my range of motion. I figure I'd need to lose 5-10lbs. to improve the situation, but they'd probably still be a bit snug on the waist. Definitely size up when buying. I'd probably go with a 38. I like the convenience of the zippered fly, but miss a drawstring waist. It isn't really needed here due to the snug fit, but this *is* a swim trunk. They are also just a touch on the short side for me, and I'm not sure why they need to be hand washed if they can handle being in pools or the ocean. So they aren't true easy care, easy wear. I really like the playful and classy look of the seersucker pattern with gold stars, but would not get them again, especially at this price. While I'm not necessarily a proponent of board shorts when hitting the beach, these are just a little to petite at 6" for my personal tastes. ~ Kort

High Price, Poor Construction & Quality

I wanted to like these but they arrived packed in a plastic bag and upon taking them out, looked more like boys boxers than swimwear. I noticed some loose stitching, and the fit was smaller than expected. The picture supplied suggests that these sit about 3-4" above the knees, but I swear my ghostly thighs never saw so much sun exposure. I think the overall sense of these was ...not what was expected. Too small, poor quality, the embroidered stars were very high contrast. Maybe just not my thing but I also think at the price point for this offering it's really missing the ball.
