I hate hauling trash cans

Our local trash service requires that we place our trash cans on the curb before pick-up in the early morning. We live with a sloped driveway, not long, but uphill both ways. I never looked forward to hauling the cans to the street then coming home after work, parking the car and hiking down to get them, assuming they haven't blown down the street or I can't find the lids. Being lazy I searched for an alternative acceptable to me and the waste company. This is what I found. I store my trash cans in the garage and line them with these trash bags (some call them drum liners). Our garbage bags from the house are transferred to the cans, and on trash day I remove, twist-tie, place in my trunk and drop the bags on the curb on my way out. The trash guys don't mind (they don't like handling the cans either), my trash cans are always clean (no residue left) and I no longer have to chase my trash cans or lids down the street. These are 1.5 mil low-density resin bags and really sturdy. I have also used them for yard waste hauling, in my shop and when I need to haul a lot of little things around like Xmas presents. Have used them for a number of years and highly recommend. One note, however: you need to purchase twist ties. I recommend 7" ties. When you load then spin the bag to close, you need a tie long enough to go around the bag neck then twist to lock.

CRAP packaging

Product is Perfect for my needs and expections,BUT the packaging from PLASTICPLACE wasTOTALLY wrong. The packaging is too weak. As the delivery photo should show IT WAS OPEN and the product fell out of the box once I got it in the house. NOT a good sign, but the PRODUCT is great! Tell the vendor to use better boxes - try ULINE - they even get trees to my house!!!

We use product for recyclable trash for a brownstone in Brooklyn. Strong, easy to fit to barrels. I use zip ties on top.
