The quality isn't the best

Ak way's look for the deal well this isn't one the quality is very poor I had two of these lights the batteries is a very good quality and the plastic by far isn't even close 6-7 weeks old and I use maybe one hour in the evenings ,now I In search for something else .I know there better one out there

Quick and easy to use.

I like the ABS plastic rigid frame, stays put on my head, would be nice to have a on-off switch for the red tail lights, Will be using it mostly indoors no need to have red lights on. It could be a little brighter but not too bad. Hopefully it will last a few years, price was reasonable, I would say I recommend it.

super bright, but not durable

I used this light to deliver in the mountains at night. Lots of walking up steep driveways and dark roads. Rural area. I've blinded many people with it it's so bright, and stays secure on my head. It worked great for a couple months, but suddenly died. It won't turn on or charge anymore. I suspect the cause was either heat or water, as I used it in both. The battery life is not so great. You'll only get a couple hours on high, and the charging time is long. If you need the light longer than that continuously, I would not recommend it. I did need it that long, and a couple times it let me down and had to go back on the charger while I resorted to a regular flashlight.

Will be using it quite often.

I am very glad I ordered this item. The following is solely based on personal experience and circumstances. My street has no public light, so when I go out in the dark, this product provides enough illumination that I can feel safe walking my small dog. I feel like it provides a "safe radius" of light of at least 12-15 yards in front of me. I also appreciate the peripheral illumination. I noticed at least 180 degrees worth of illumination. Most importantly, it does not get in the way. I own a number of headlights, and it seems like the more powerful they are, the bulkier they are (the flahslight part sticks out in front of your forehead). This is expectable. Sometimes, when I have to do work in dark and small spaces, my hand often hits the light, or the light hits the wall of a cabinet for example, which can be annoying. However, this item is flat and sits flush with your forehead, without getting in the way. That is a big plus for me, at least. This product is a balance or compromise between sufficient power/brightness and ease of use. Personally, I will be using it a lot, in dark working areas and outdoors.

Great product.

I ordered this light for working on vehicles, both under the hood and under them. I have a similar headlamp but it is a headband type and puts out the same type of very usable light that is bright, diffused and seems to illuminate everything within 6 ft almost eliminating shadows! I ordered this one because of the visor aspect of it going on like a pair of glasses and not a headband. It functions great in that aspect, but the reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the two rear red lamps are not switchable. They are on when the headlamp is on, and drain the battery of power when they are not needed. If they could be switched off so that only the front lamp is drawing power, then I would have give it 5 stars. I realize this is marketed towards runners and other outdoor exercises where you would want that visibility from the rear that the two red tail lamps give you. I just don't need them for working on vehicles in my garage. One plus - I now can ride my bicycle after dark with this thing, as it satisfies the lawful requirement of a forward facing light and a rear red marker lamp for riding a bicycle after dark!

Uncomplicated Headlamp

No batteries to change, no strap to cinch, no angles to adjust, no instructions to memorize -- just put it on, and press the single button to cycle through the settings or turn it off -- this is the simplicity I was looking for. I have other, complicated lights to use while running or cycling, so this one is pulling around-the-house duty. It stays in place well while moving/bending/looking down and its weight is not bothersome. The only bad thing about it for this application is that I don't need the red rear lights to be on, but there is no way to disable them -- they're not causing any harm and aren't visible to the wearer, but it's worth noting. The headlamp is made entirely of plastic, so I am concerned with its long-term durability accomodating my large head. To be fair, it doesn't feel like its about to break, and creaking (as I would expect of plastic) is very minimal when coming on or off. Overall, this is a simple-to-operate light with a nice, wide beam.
