Substandard “ream” but works fine

It is a gross misrepresentation to claim 400 sheets is a ream. But I bought this fully aware of the deception for its environmental profile. I regret rewarding them for the mislabeling, but was too lazy to find an alternative. The paper works well, looks fine, and doesn’t jam. I wish they’d make it in a standard ream size (500) and charge 20% more instead of the deceptive advertising.

Love that it’s 100% recycled paper! Feels good to be more eco conscious with my business! ???? It’s pretty good paper! Just a little thin. But I’m ok with that, because it works great otherwise and saves so many precious trees! We all need to do our part. And this isn’t super expensive! :)

Ok for printing unimportant documents

The corner of one of the reems arrived bent & crinkled. The box the paper came in was fine and the other reems seem to be fine. I've noticed in stapling paper together that the paper is not all the same length. Otherwise, the paper is usable. I wouldn't recommend it for printing anything where the quality of the paper needs to make an impression, such as resumes.

Great that it's 100% recycled! But....they wrap their reams in plastic!!! Hence the 4 stars.

I received the paper and loaded up it up in the copier. No problems on the paper quality, its just as good as the commercial paper like Hps. The color is a tad less bright. Its noticeable but really doesn't matter to me.. less bleaching is good as far I am concerned. The cost is a little more than I think its worth for a recycled product thats really abundant.. Paper. So why the 4 stars? Most people that specifically buy a product thats from 100 % recycled sources, even at a premium, have a certain mind set about the environment. I think Printworks missed the mark here the moment that they packed the reams in plastic wrap! Many other competitors use paper, it would make sense to do so with this product. It was a let down to get my 100% recycled paper neatly sandwiched in plastic.. I know the company claims they need to wrap it in something to protect it from moisture etc etc. Not buying it as an excuse... there are other options I am sure. Cost probably plays a role in their decision.

Not eco friendly packaging

Tried to be environmentally conscious by ordering recycled paper, but unlike most reams of paper which come enclosed in a paper wrapper, each ream came sealed in plastic film. Kind of defeats the purpose of being eco friendly to use plastic packaging.

I was happy to buy 100% recycled paper to "do my part", but pretty dismayed to find every 400 sheets of it wrapped in plastic instead of paper - especially when MOST copy paper that you can buy comes wrapped in paper.

I spend extra to buy 100% recycled solely for eco reasons. Its a slap in the face when the stack is wrapped in plastic

It is super thin

The paper appears to be a little thinner than standard. If your printer is ink, it is not possible to print double-sided as you can see the marks on the other side, making it difficult to see the document. I will not buy again.

Paper looks great. I was expecting 100% recycled paper to be of inferior quality when compared to regular stuff. I was pleasantly surprised that it actually looks better than my standard office supply paper. Will buy again.

Wrapped in plastic and less paper than you might expect

I was surprised to find that this box is 1/2 the size of the standard paper box I was expecting - 6 packages of paper in total. What was even more disappointing was that each package is wrapped in PLASTIC - why on Earth would you do that for 100% recycled paper? Not sustainable or ecologically oriented. Will not buy again.
