speakers sound great but the lights were a disappointment!

bought two sets. spent two days installing them and a 400w pyle amp. amp wouldnt power up right out of the box, tried powering up the lights on the speakers and only one of four worked. what a pile. i do have to say that they sounded pretty darn good hooked directly to the stereo. feeling like clark griswold with the lights though, very disappointing! and yes, i do have experience with low voltage led rgb lighting, i work with lighting in major fountains every day. Update: Got a new set shipped out to me promptly, problem was with the push button controller, one channel was burnt out, all up and running, now, speakers sound great, lots of volume compared to the 6's I had before, clear, nice bass, lights are cool, can't wait to do a night fishing trip now. upgraded the stars based on the quick fix and sound of the speakers.

Not bad for the price.

I'm not running an amp, and they sound good for being a low end speaker. They have red, green, and blue LED bulbs, the blue ones did not illuminate in one of my speakers, but that is okay because I only wanted red. Bottom line, you get what you pay for, and I wanted cheap.

Installed on a 13' Boston Whaler

I installed these on my 13' Boston Whaler center console with a rockville head unit. I usually go all out in my trucks and install nice sound systems because I spend enough time in them where I think it's important. I went cheaper on my dinghy because it's going to be near salt and water. The sound out of them is not great but it's loud enough for what I want. They're not the worst quality but don't expect 4 channel sound out of them. They don't sound crisp like you would hear with a nice speaker but I needed waterproof and wanted cheap and that's what I got.

For the money and quality...NICE. On a boat it's hard to find speaker cones that will last and sound good but these do the trick and with the LED implants...makes the boat look great :)

Pyle LED speakers

I ordered these to go in a Reckless motorcycle fairing. I just got the fairing today so I have not got them hooked up. When I took them out of the box one of the little plugs where you plug the LED cable was cracked. The speaker covers had some small scratches. I'm thinking these might be returns or China just throws stuff together.. They also won't fit in the holes in fairing that is made for this size speaker. That means more work for me to open up the hole..The LED cable location on the speaker also interferes with the opening.. I cannot comment on how they sound yet. The LED feature is poorly made so I don't have much faith in in working for any length of time if it does work at all. Update: Speakers sound ok but if your buying for the LED effect forget it. The lights are garbage. Look elsewhere. Wasted lot of time fooling with those fragile little wires and connection.

First of came shipped well packaged got here as expected the sound quality is GREAT and the colored LEDS are awesome im very pleased with this product and i would recommend these to anyone who wants lights in with the speakers i never write reviews but im soo happy with this speakers so far no problems with them
