What a great tool
The thing I like best about this measuring tape is that I can read it. I also love the ability to mark your cuts. It took me a while to figure it out but once I did it's easy. It also goes in and out very easy and when you lock it stays locked. This measuring tape is worth the money. I'm thinking of getting one for my son.

Great, but doesn't last.
This is my 3rd one of these... incredibly useful but the quality is just not there. it comes with a dozen led marking sticks, you get through maybe 2 before something breaks. Tape is cheap. Wish a big name brand would take this idea and run with it because it is REALLY helpful.

A worthwhile tool
This is a worthwhile tool. It speeds the measurement process up significantly for me as I no longer have to reach for my pencil. The pencil line it draws is about a full 1/16 thick the cut line will be on the tape end side of the line, leaving the work mark-less.

Train yourself to use the marking feature and it’ll be the fastest and most comfortable tape measure
I don’t like the way the roller is used to dust lead on object but love the idea of not needing a third hand to mark the measurement

I love the concept but needs a few improvements!
I love the concept but I have a few suggestions for some improvements that would make it the ideal quick measure for me. #1 the plastic housing seems durable but I'm not sure if it will withstand the bangs and drops on the construction site. #2 the locking mechanism doesn't work too well for me. It would seem to be more practical if I could pull out the tape and it would automatically lock/stay in place so I could have make the mark easier. Then I can push/hold the released button to allow it to roll back up. Having to make sure that you locked it on the correct measurement is a hassle, especially when you have to be right over the the tape and not allow your big thumb to block your view while trying to lock it. Or better yet, have some sort of quick lock/hold that down while you mark, and when you release it's free to move. It just the standard thumb lock it's practical here.

Works great
Planning to buy more of these. Works great for measurement marks so you can then a straight line for accurate cuts. Came with a lead already installed and ready to go and extra spares. NOTE: the lead only marks when locked as the measurement lock engages the pencil. Overall: great tape measure easy to read for beginners and very accurate. Used for a measurement critical project and it worked great. Will buy more

A time saver
Great idea. I can't wait to use it on larger projects as I have only tried it out to see how accurate it really is. No problems there.This tape will eliminate the need to make sure I always have a pencil with me. The line made is crisp and clear and the tape measure is well made. The reasons I didn't give it 5 stars are that I would like to see is a way to anchor the end so that a circular pattern could be made and it isn't as heavy duty as my Stanley FatMax tapes. This tape still extends quite a ways, but will not handle a breeze without folding. Let me know if these things are improved and I would look at another! Also, make a 30' tape.

Not as quick as I would have liked!
Great Tape, helps save time when marking but there are 2 flaws. The tape itself is weak and not very thick so it does not hold up when streached out so you can measure wide areas. 2nd issue is the button to hold the tape from moving does not work very well and is very hard to get it to stop where you need it (which makes it a little more time consuming) that does not help save time marking with a pencil because I catch my self doing just that marking with my pencil! Works great marking drywall! Works great if you are NOT in a hurry or doing a lot of measurements! I mark 2 x 4's and drywall for most of my work and I have not found it faster.
