Heavier than I thought!

This is a nice pan and seems well made but it's much heavier than I thought it would be and then when you add water and/or food it's really bad. It also just feels like it's not balanced correctly and that is magnified when filled with something.

I FIRST AND ONLY USE

I used it to simmer spaghetti sauce that I had added hamburger and a can of garlic/onion diced tomatoes to. The high sides on this pan kept it simmering without popping out all over the stove. The pan Cleaned up beautifully. I did need to lower the temperature to simmer - but that was fine.

LOVE!

I love this pan. You can cook pretty much anything in it. Stir fry. Soups. The only thing I don’t like is that there is no lid for it. But I just use aluminum foil.

Pretty Color

I was on the hunt for a saucepan but the color is ultimately why I chose this saucepan. I have never seen a color like this on a pot. I had to get it. The quality is really great. No complaints so far. I cook a ton so I know this saucepan will get some good use. My only issue is for the price I wish the pot came with a cover.

Great Capacity for 2

I inherited my Mom’s cookware which while cooking well, weighs a ton. I was looking for the same even heating and simmering capability as I had in her cookware BUT a whole lot lighter. This pan is perfect - it holds a good capacity, is light weigh, and rather than flat sides has a nice gently sloping profile. It is an attractive color and the best part is the insulted handle…no more fumbling with potholders. I gave this 4 stars but wish that it had an insulated support handle on the opposite side of the pot handle.

Perfect sized saucepan

I’ve come to really love Rachel Ray’s cookware! I’ve ordered many pieces over the last year or so, and each and every one has been top notch quality. We cook daily in our home, so our pots & pans get quite a lot of usage and they’ve held up nicely. No chipping or coating coming off what so ever. I love the size of this saucepan as it’s perfect not only for sauces, but also perfect for personal soups, beans, pasta, etc. The only thing that could’ve made this pot any better, is if it came with a lid! Lol Otherwise this gets a definite 5 stars from me!
