Adorable Surprises!

I love that this is mess free and only requires water. When the water is allowed a few minutes to soak in the pen , it worked well. The pictures are pretty and so colorful when wet and I especially loved the way the little surprises popped out! There are many images to discover along the way! The pages dry back to clear which makes it great as a reusable project and also a lot of fun for a game of seek-and-find!

works well to entertain kids with no stray marker

my daughters love these art books. they really like this one with the surprise images that appear with the water. the pages do work well with the included pen. my oldest doesn't like the pen tip as its a bit odd. she prefers to use a paintbrush. the pages actually do dry out well as long as you don't get them too wet.

Very fun water color book

At first I loved that this water color book has a pointed felt tip water marker which I thought would be great for better precision when coloring BUT the felt tip actually doesn’t dispense water as easily as the Melissa and Doug water color books with the brush style water color pencil. The pencil does work it just take a little bit more effort to actually evenly color with it or reveal the colors. As much as i hated the way the Melissa and Doug water pen brushes fanned out they’re more effective for evenly applying the water to reveal the color. Both are effective though. All in all this water color book is great! It’s very engaging and fun for my 3.5 year old. My son loves water color books and this one is very fun. We also love that this book has 2 more pages than the average Melissa and Doug water color books. We’ve very happy with this color book and would definitely recommend it! My 3 year old LOVES it!!!

Yay No Mess

My almost 3 year old is obsessed with the various "no mess, water only" art books out there. We have things like this from various brands like Melissa and Doug. The pen for this book is a bit on the small side, which isn't a big deal for my daughter to use, but it does mean more frequent water fill ups. I took off a star because the felt tip is a bit hard to use. It seems like the water saturates it at too slow a rate, so there is a significant delay in coloring, which requires more patience than my daughter has (and honestly, it would bother me too). It feels like coloring or drawing with a dried out marker. It's otherwise a great book, my daughter still enjoys using it and it keeps her busy long enough. The pages dry nicely.

Cute sensory toy

This is a cute little activity book that is reusable over and over again! I think I actually enjoyed it more than my kid did, but I digress. It’s very stress relieving and I think would be a great sensory toy or calm down toy. Worth it!

A COOL ACTIVITY TO KEEP BUSY

I got this for my toddler and he has fun using it. The marker it comes with doesn't get the page wet enough to color the page in well, but if you have a paint brush you can dip in water, it works way better and the pages turn out vibrant and beautiful.

Good book

We are use the Melissa and Doug versions of these books. The pens with those seems a little sturdier but otherwise I don’t notice much of a difference. This one is a little bit bigger which means more occupied time!

Great gift

We got these for our 7 yr old Granddaughter we have gotten other versions from this company so am aware of how the water pen works she loves the other one and it gives her something to do that she enjoys. We think this makes a great gift for children for at-home or day trips.
