Maybe it really is crystal, but it feels like plastic

I never got as far as putting wine in the glasses, so I can't say how well they work at preserving "nose" and enabling swirling. All I can say is that as soon as I took one out of the box, I knew I would be returning them. They felt like expensive but disposable plastic glasses. I was a little worried I could break one with my bare hand just by squeezing hard enough. Maybe they really were crystal glass, but they were so thin that and they felt so cheap I would be embarrassed to serve them to guests and felt cheap using them at home alone. I would rather serve wine in sturdy polycarbonate genuine picnic wine glasses. Returned in favor of the Riedel O series tumblers, which I admit I haven't held either: maybe they will be just as bad, but they have a much better reputation.

Great 23 oz glasses

These are beautiful and comfortable glasses though they are 23oz, which is a little too big for us - I'm going to return them. I wish they were 12-15 oz - I'm not after a specific size for each type of wine. Also, as of 6/21/21, the description says "This pack contains 2 glasses", which is incorrect - there are 4 of them in the set

Asbove and Beyond, Favorite glass for almost all application

I originally purchased the stemmed wings glasses for Riesling, Cab and Pinot. They are nice glasses and wonderful taste experience but they are big and I feel I will break them. The stemless wings glasses fit perfectly in your hand . Feel so natural and comfortable, look great and I am not afraid to give vigorous swirls.

Un verre particulier...

J'avais fait l'essai de ces verres au cours d'un voyage, lors d'une dégustation à un vignoble. Ce verre change vraiment tout dans les arômes et le goût. Je ne l'aurais pas crû si je ne l'avais pas essayé. C'est radical! Ma conjointe en bavait d'envie et l'achat allait de soi. Pour les vins oranges, c'est un MUST. Une surprenante découverte.
